A permit is permission from the government, and the government is an extortion racket. People get sick from food in restaurants all the time and they have permits.
It’s bullshit just like Uber charging you illegal ride fees. They also discriminated taxi they can’t drop off at the gates they play favoritism they give taxi tickets while they service their clients the hypocrite Nevada is a racist city!

And why do you think they are charging $15? For me, if you want to chance it with an unpermitted vendor you should have the right to roll the dice. It's Vegas after all. But I've seen the places these foods are prepared and the practices of illegal vendors when prepping the food. Have fun with the extra ingredients.
I’ve had food poisoning twice and both times never came from steer vendors they came from pre made salad from a grocery store and a restaurant. At lesser with a street vendor you can see them up close bed someone in the back of the kitchen doing gods knows what with your food. I use to work in restaurants and I’ve seen them not was their hands and get right in the line a cook, or they will used expired ingredients. Just because someone has a permit does not make it safe to eat.
Yup, I just got through explaining this to someone. There are restaurants, with permits/licenses, that have several health violations. Many restaurants have been closed by the health department.

@@TheBloodshotFilms I agree that it's okay for the health department to check these vendors out. If they find health violations, then shut them down and fine them just like restaurants. Some restaurants have repeated violations, but they have a license. Also, some things, that common sense would consider to be unsanitary, go on daily in restaurants. That's why some people quit and never reported what they knew. The health department can't catch everything. There's no reason to harass a vendor just because they don't have a license.
That is basically what a permit is.

The fruit vendor must learn that in Las Vegas our police should be respected. Deportation is a must. Las Vegas doesn't need street vendors at all. Americans have restaurants with permits and licenses for food workers in a clean environment. People don't know if they are infected with diseases from the street vendor. The street vendors where they wash their hands, go to the bathroom, pollute our streets with garbage and containers. A slap in the face to our restaurants. No street vendors at all. Las Vegas is not California or Mexico at all. Deportation, but before the vendor should go to jail for pushing the police officer to the ground. He should learn to respect the police.

Yeah man, they found a loop hole in Clark County Nevada laws on vendors but the law enforcement has a point on the issue and yes one would think they need a permit to operate due to taxes on fast food is different than grocery store food items where there is no taxes. I nailed a canteen director at Chattahoochee state Forensic, civil, baker acted, psychiatric Hospital in Florida. I went through the tax Bureau on him back in 1998. Accomplishments I did while I was sleeping there....
