I violated once by communicating with my gf who was with me in the stolen vehicle....I told the judge "haven't you ever been in love?!" Hahahah and he said, "idgaf. If I tell you not to wear a red sweater, then you can't wear a red sweater." Revoked my probation and gave me the felony. All because I talked to my chick...ruined my life

Man I wish my brother had a quarter of the drive you have! He did eight years and got out. I saw him struggle since no one wants to give convicts a chance which is wrong on so many levels!!! He started at a scrap yard and ended up eventually running one and been a crane operator in a union so he’s had WAY more opportunities than most people with his history. The problem is he is so obsessed with being the toughest guy around he’s ruined every opportunity, now in his mid 50’s and still nothing is ever his fault! I’ve watched your videos forever man and I’m so happy for you!!!

Oh my god when I got with my now husband he’d never had a license, lost it when he was 16 and I met him at 30. I told him if he stayed out of trouble I’d pay his dues so he can get it back, keep listening I had a reason, well he did good I took him to every court hearing and we worked with the judge to get it back I needed up paying 9.000$ total. He’s a good man now and hasn’t been in any kind of trouble since we’ve been together. I know someone is saying that’s dumb but guess what the other half of our deal was? He has to drive me around everywhere 😂 I haven’t driven in 7 years now unless it was an emergency. Best money i ever spent! I hate driving

Literally just went through this. I missed court for a violation of probation during the pandemic. Had to go to cook county jail for 2 weeks. Since it was a no bond hold I had to go to a medium max deck. It was a jungle. I’m never going back there. Only time I’d ever been there was 10 years prior. I have no convictions beside this either. Being the only Whiteboy and neutron on a deck full of BDs and Pstones gave me a heart attack almost 😂

That freaking happens, man, 😯 probation/parole violation is _VERY_ touchy. A screw-up can get you extra time with no availability to bond out because your officer has put a hold on you and extra fines with extra years of supervision where you're STILL responsible for your previous fines AND supervision fees....and they might trash your probation/parole if they fear you are a flight risk. Things I've learned personally. 😅

Good advice there at the end. From someone else who’s been down both sides of riding out on probation (successfully and not), get yourself a gaming console, home theater, home gym or whatever it takes and stick to working your job and going/staying home. Find yourself some hobbies that you enjoy and can be done in the safety and privacy of your own home. Then just lay low until that probation time runs out (believe me, I know it ain’t easy) I’m presently on the last five months of finishing up what started as a year probation that got turned into a 9 month lockup plus five year tail because I hit the streets too soon. This wasn’t my first round through the system, but it is the first time messing up on probation. Hope to be done for good once this ride is over. There’s too many people out here counting on me to not wind up back in a damn cage.

Yeah, death I totally agree with you.. it’s always scary getting a PV and having to go back in front of your probation charge but you always have a better chance if it’s only technical at not a fresh charge but still you never know how it’s gonna go.. the judge will send the first three girls back to prison then the next strain get out and a lot of times they were for what I would consider more of a minor technical offense like a hot pass test, but you come back with fresh charges, which is also a technical violation double whammy lol you’re guaranteed not walking out of there it’s just about how long are you going to do and at least in PA a lot of people much rather be on parole and probation BC you can get all of your time reinstated and have to do all of that time behind bars on probation, no matter how long you were a friend doing good but parole you could only go back for whatever time you have left. Not sure if it’s that way all across the US.

The most important thing is paying your fees, showing up to probation, and not getting arrested.
I was on probation, but held a full time job, paid all fees, always showed up, and even though I failed every single drug test they never violated me. I was usually honest about the drug test to telling them I would fail.
Then I know someone who got a lucky 3 years probation only for a third gun charge and violated with a fourth gun charge. Now he's looking at 10-20 but will realistically get like 5 and do 3.5
