- A couple struggled for 7 years to start a family until last week when they welcomed home their new baby boy, all the way from Taiwan. Cary and Ryan Ray tried holistic methods, Western medicine, different surgeries, but with every attempt they were unsuccessful. They decided to start the adoption process. They slept with their cell phones on every night since 2013. The couple finally received the call and flew to Taiwan to meet their son. #InsideEdition

A mom is not someone that births you, it's someone who gives you love, understanding and guides you to positive things. Being a mom takes a lot of love. This woman is an amazing mother to want him.

I adopted my daughter. I would love to adopt again someday... Truly life's best miracles :)
Kendra Benton each adoption is different. From the time I was able to meet my daughter, to the finalization day was a month shy of a year. placement day after meeting my daughter took a couple months since we had to do things between Utah and California.

I myself am adopted because my parents couldn't have a child of their own and they tried for 5 years to get me to live with them and when I finally did when we were moving to America I couldnt come because I wasn't an American citizen so my dad had to ask his friend and I think he was a senator or something and I finally got to live with my parents!!

According from what I heard, it's harder for Americans to adopt children in the United States, then it is out of it. Since there is a lot of requirements and needs that adoptees need to pass and what not. Not to mention that the government and child services will be breathing down your neck for a long time. There's also financial, health, and mental stability and citizenship stuff. So yeah it's pretty hard and complicated I suppose.

I'm not saying biological parents don't love their children as much. But when that relationship and bond is made purely out of love and choice, and wanting, their is a very special love adoptive parents have for their children. I imagine it's similar to those whom have struggled to conceive but did. There is something extra there. There's so much love and want. It's a beautiful, pure type of love. I doubt I'm explaining this in a way that makes sense. But there is just something else there. A much deeper rooted love.

Some people should re- search about adoption here in the U.S. you would be shocked to learn the cost, and why so many couples turn to adoption overseas. Not everyone has the means to adopt a child from the U.S. especially with a starting price of $30,000 and more maybe laws should be changed. Nevertheless glad there dream of becoming parents came true, and may continue to receive many more blessings.

euphemia tea it is alot easier and usually alot cheaper. I am going to be adopting soon. I am choosing to adopt here in America like people should do, but I understand why people would go overseas. If your single or some other reasons it can be really difficult to adopt within the US.

Because America makes it EXTREMELY difficult to adopt here. My sister is a foster care parent, vetted by the State AND the FBI, and still is having a hard time adopting from the U. S. It’s ridiculous. Not only is it harder, it’s way more expensive in the U. S.

+Megan Christopher because you love the child and will raise it as your own. Although saying this mind you I am against about 98% of adoptions out there due to the severe corruption in the adoption industry.
When you become a parent, you'll find that you can love in ways you never imagined before. It's difficult to describe that feeling with words. But you love the people who you care for, who you spend time with, who you dream for and hope for and stay up nights for when they're sick. You love them so much your heart hurts! It doesn't matter that you didn't carry your child in your body for 9 months. Fathers don't carry their child for 9 months, but they love them just the same. I got to help raise my niece for 3 years. And even though we shared no blood, she was the most important person in my life, and I loved her more than anyone or anything. I didn't know I could love someone that much. You'll experience that at some point if you allow yourself to. And when you do, you'll never be the same!

They haven't been trying to adopt for seven years....they were just trying to conceive for seven years then came to terms they couldn't have one THEN they adopted.

Cindy Sue Horrible. I used to volunteer at a shelter for abused kids. Which is why I strongly believe if anyone rapes or murders a child they should get the death penalty. It's horrible what these kids go through.

Nice to know they still stayed together and decided to just adopt and keep their vows. Because some people ended up splitting/divorcing because they can't bear a child.

My daughter has had 7 IV’s and was never got pregnant. All taken place in LV with Dr Sher. Finally they were not a genetic match. She is now 47 and happy.
