I always say to myself I love myself too much to let anxiety change my decision, if I think it would make someone happy to see me there or I could have fun I go, worst case you show your face and support get bored and leave but even leaving early hype yourself up and be proud that you did it ❤️ lol a ramble but being positive and kind to yourself goes a long way

You should make it a point to go somewhere for a minimum of 2 hours by yourself weekly, so that you can experience the mom guilt, and push through it and see that it will likely reduce your anxiety and theirs too. That’s just my two cents from a mom of 4.

I agree with you that it is intrusive to ask people something like that when it should be a personal decision that a family makes. I am honestly impressed by how well you set that boundary.

Anyone else googling to find aquariums with cuttlefish for Flynn?
It’s way far away of a trip but the aquarium in Chattanooga Tennessee has had cuttlefish every time I’ve gone for the past decade! I don’t know what kind but they have their own dedicated tank. They’re so so cool to watch! They also have an octopus, I think it’s a pacific octopus but I don’t remember that specific either. 😅

If you were the type of person to just say "JoJo invited me and I'm not sure if I'm going to go yet," then your videos wouldn't be interesting enough for anyone to watch. We love you because you're interesting and quirky and vulnerable and a little rough around the edges. This is what we come here for (amongst many other reasons like we just like you and your family). I want you to be the healthiest version of yourself, but not being yourself would be terribly boring and inauthentic.
I feel like the whole music video was a reference to Miley Cyrus. The teddy bear costume for Mileys VMAs costume. The black wings for Mileys song Cant be tamed. And the construction work outfit for Mileys wreckign ball song. They are all times where Miley was seen to be very cobtroversial, and breaking from the Disney narative. Maybe just me, but it was the first thing I thought about😃

It helps so much seeing you talk about your anxiety. I connect so much when you talk about it and have had quite the ride myself this last year. You talking about part of your brain being a bully and part of it being logical is something I struggle with daily. I’m trying. I saw something where someone said I know I’m suppose to talk positively to myself but it’s hard because positive to myself always sounds sarcastic and I was like that’s it wow it’s so hard because for some reason it’s sarcastic. However if I heard someone else say that to either another person or them selves I’d be made and be like hey be nice give them time. Anyways if anyone read that I’m sorry that got long. But all that to say I just connect with hearing others talk about things I experience 😊hope you had a good day!

Can someone understand the bully in your head, great way to put it,I feel I have that as well, the yeah if you go out all will be watching and judging, and don’t eat in public cause they are gunna call you fat, so so so get this, it’s hard to deal with and hard for others to understand, xxx but I so so so get it xxx same here. Something my bully has been saying regarding going outside is ‘Outside bad, inside good’ in other words don’t go outside cause they all are watching you and what you do, stay inside where it’s safe, So get it, xxx
The mum guilt is real! I don’t know any mums who don’t feel it one way or another. From a mum of an 18 and 16 year old, they really don’t remember me going out. They remember the little things we do for them and how we make them feel safe and loved. I wasted so many years to stupid mum guilt and turned down invitations because of it. Don’t let it stop you. You are an amazing mum and do so much for your kiddos, they won’t remember the times you did things without them, they will be making their own memories with whoever they are with at the time.
