Yes I appreciate the narration to the montages because often I am playing your videos while doing other activities (including driving) where I can't watch everything so the montages are usually just a music break where I have no idea what's happening - hearing the voice over is a game changer.

Hi Colleen, I just wanted to say I have also been to the aquarium and I was very delighted to see how much fun Wesley and Flynn and even Maisy had at the aquarium and I just wanted to tell you that I have loved watching your Vlogs over the years and that you literally have helped me in so many ways. I currently have a six month old baby and he is the cutest thing in the world and I go back on your Vlogs with Flynn and with twins all the time and you literally helped me raise my baby so far because I don’t really have the best mother in my life you have become like mother and I guess you could say to me so I just wanna say I’m so grateful for you and everything that you do and here and just amazing incredible you are keep up the goodwork with everything.

Thanks for letting me live the Monterey Bay Aquarium through you vicariously. I was going to go next weekend, but you made a good point. If you have social anxiety around a lot of people, which I do, it's probably not the right aquarium to go to, or at least not right now in this season. I think I will still visit it one day, but maybe with somebody else and not alone for my vacation. I have road anxiety too in heavy traffic and I think with all the people visiting, I would have been stressed, anxious, and overwhelmed. I'm with you and Maisy, I still would probably have a great time, but as Flynn said, "A Disaster of Happiness". Not what I want exactly for my vacation. I need to relax, unwind, and have fun. Aquarium=fun, seeing all that is there. Driving there, parking, navigating the crowds = not relaxing. You honestly saved me the stress and anxiety. Thank you so much, Collen. I love that Flynn and Wesley had a good time. I love you and your family so much. You are all just great!

Oh my gosh. I'm going to the Monterey Bay Aquarium next month for my birthday my birthday is August 17th but I'm going a little early because my dad is coming to visit from Northern California in Eureka california. That's my hometown cuz I live there longer than anywhere else. Anyways the point is that is one of my favorite aquariums but it can be a little pricey so I don't go all the time but for a trip with my dad it's worth it. I really wanted to go there for my birthday and my dad is taking me there to make my dreams come true because I love that aquarium. My favorite are Blowfish I'm pretty sure they'll have that. I also like jellyfish. But anyways cephalopods which is what Flynn likes I'm sure he'll find something in the family that makes him happy.

Your trip is what we’ve done with our 3 kids so many times they totally take it for granted now 😢 We love Dennis the Menace park!! I live in Stockton (about 2 and a half hours from Monterey) and I've never been to the aquarium there, but I've always wanted to go. I think Maisey is going to be an introvert like Erik while Flynn and Wesley are going to be extroverts like Colleen sometimes is. I loved seeing the kids' reactions to the different animals.

2:42, I think that's the "Million Gallon Tank" that had been put in not too long before my last visit (nearly 20yrs-ago now! 🙈) I just remember trying really hard to look deep into & see everything swimming far off & then being startled to the point of nearly falling over when an ENORMOUS fish swam right in front of me, in the tank! 😂😂 Thankfully, I don't think anybody noticed.
LOVED watching your kids enjoy the aquarium! I miss my kids being little and taking them places like that! Their squeals were darling! Love the innocent excitement! They grow up so fast! For Maisy… maybe try a stroller and a comfort item? It might help her have a place to “hide” and feel comfortable at those overwhelming moments? Oh my gosh the sea lions/ seals in the wild were so cute!! The aquarium looked so magical I’ve never seen one like that it looks absolutely stunning. Flynn really had the best time of his life he’s so happy!! I love how everyone got to see an animal they love Flynn - icepod bug, Wesley - Clown fish and Maisey Otter. I feel for Maisey so much it can get so overwhelming and overstimulating when there’s too many people crowding in one place 🥺. Those light up jelly fish are insane they are so so cool. If you are ever in Toronto Canada, the Ripleys Aquarium has cuttle fish. They are a fav of mine. My aquarium rules are 1. ALWAYS on a weekday. 2. Enter around 1:30. Littles are on their way to nap time and school trips are on their way out. 3. Always make sure its a school day. Way less peopley.
I love 3 hours from Monterey and I had a feeling you guys were going that. It’s such a beautiful place! My husband is from a town close to Monterey and took me to the Monterey Pier on a date years ago.
