I'm Indonesian living in Japan, and compared to the living costs here, I was kinda amazed with how high the accommodation and the eggs (yes, eggs) prices are. I'd like to know, why are those things so expensive? I mean, we just spend about 250-700 USD per month for normal apartment and about 1.5 USD per 10 fresh eggs...
You live in Japan - that's awesome! The price for accommodation varies depending on where in NZ you live. Auckland (being the biggest city in NZ) has one of the highest accommodation costs in the country. And the eggs... the ones featured in the video were free range eggs so they are more expensive than caged eggs.

in south Auckland rent is so expensive for houses, usually they’re ugly unless you’re lucky

Also, there's no university in Queenstown unfortunately. But if you do attend any of the universities in NZ, it would be really easy to take trips to Queenstown!

Beruntung aku hidup di Indonesia ternyata diindonesia serba murah .
Nge kost 550 RB 1 bulan dan 3 JT buat makan roko dan bensin selama sebulan dah cukup 100 RB sehari ( bensin 20 RB , makan 2x 40 RB , roko 20 RB, kopi 5 RB = masih sisa 15 RB ) = , gaji 5 juta masih bisa nabung 1,4 juta ( buat hidup sendiri ) di banding negara lain ckckkcck love Indonesia

Prices are roughly similar around the country. However yes, there are certain differences (for example, accommodation in Auckland and Queenstown is more expensive than in other cities).

Hi, sorry for the late reply! Thanks for your comment. I currently work as an editor. The climate in NZ varies depending on whereabouts in the country. In Auckland the climate is usually mild - doesn’t get too hot or cold

I'm not sure if living costs are the same in Christchurch, I'm sorry... Perhaps accommodation would be cheaper?... But all in all, I would guess that it would be similar.

Hmm... Good question! I'm not sure if Kiwis who are fluent in Te Reo Māori mix that with English when they speak... It's quite rare to come across people speaking Māori on the street in NZ
