Nebuler is too heavy to travel with, unless you travel on the car. The colours of the Nebula are too bright, don't look natural. After watching them head to head, I prefer the XGIMI.
Hi Lana, XGIMI is my ultimate favourite projector, mainly because it has all the premium features and one extra feature that no other projector has ‘obstacle avoidance’.
Hi Miki, thanks for your comment. The title states horizon pro as there are not much difference to the standard horizon but in the content I have clearly said it’s NOT 4K horizon pro.
I have Appotronics M1 Laser 2017, and after 4 years the projector has lost the brightens significantly even though the lifespan of the lamp is 60,000 hours. Now I have to replays it, but I am very worried that my new projector won't last for long as well. Prices have tripled since then, so paying £2,000 for a projector that loses its brightness after 3-5 years is very unfair. I don't trust any one any more... I don't know what to do?
Absolutely correct. Sometimes specs on papers misleads but I would expect a lot from Nebula and XGIMI as they are both leading brands in smart projectors. Have you considered Wemax Dice? It’s priced under £600 and it has great audio and image. It’s not as bright though. We have a dedicated video on this channel.
I’m more inclined to XGIMI but again it’s personal preference. I am currently reviewing Nebula Capsule 3 portable projector and it’s really a game changer
No, the capsule 3 brings great features but it’s only 1080p with 300 ANSI Lumens. So in nutshell the XGIMI and cosmos laser 4K has more brighter colours but they cost double of nebula capsule 3.
No the xgimi is better look bit less brighter but it better setup and to hdmi ports one use arc port interneport usb if I was to get one of thess it would be xgimi definitely Iv got a epson ef12 projector it's great 1080p laser 20000 hours life iv use it almost every 2 years 4 months 3 weeks it has two hdmi ports one is arc 2 usb headphones output port 1000 lumens on sheet it's that but it's 1100 just over has a great Yamaha sound speak pretty good it will accept a 4k signal from blue ray player but it down scaling it does something to the pixel pritty good it ass hdr some hdr movie on it look pritty good and some not to good hdr is 50 50 has Android TV built in wich is great does not support Netflix you will. Need a firestick or something like that for blue rays and dvd great picture but 4k blue ray it's a hit and miss hdr not brilliant everything else is great tho
I have the nebula cosmos max 4k projector and after 12 months it has power issue. Can't turn on projector with remote controller unless you press the physical power button on the back of the unit. It's going back to amazon tomorrow. By the way Anker was unprofessional and told me as it was after 12 months they wouldn't help me at all. Luckily Amazon did. You would think a £1000+ projector would survive longer than 12 months. I'm getting the XGimi Horizon Pro as I'm never buying anything of Anker, Nebula again
Thanks for sharing your experience. XGMI is my go to projector. The only downside is that it does not support Netflix natively. I usually plug google chrome cast as alternative.
@@APTechs I like using the Chromecast with Google TV anyways as a lot of the other built-in apps don't work properly. Like Movies Anywhere or Vudu doesn't play 4K content due to DRM reason. Also I could use the projector only in SDR mode if I wanted to. This is something you can't do with the projector itself.
I still have my Cosmos Max projector and it's still working fine. The only issue I have is Auto focus isn't perfect so at times I would have to fine tune it in. It gets out of focus slightly after using for 30 mins or so. I recently picked up the Horizon Pro a couple of months ago and it is an upgrade for the most part. I do miss the speakers for the Cosmos Max as they were perfect. Other than that I like the motion handling a lot better. It's more smooth which is better for animation movies or so. I wanted 3D support as well which was promised at first on the Cosmos Max but later dropped. Nebula was great with their customer service though and even compensated me for it. I compared the two side by side and the Horizon Pro had better HDR performance. Yes brightness is king. I do have these hooked up optically to my Hyperboom in case I wanted better sounds. I could even do eARC on the Horizon Pro if I needed to which I can't on the Cosmos Max which only has ARC. Overall it's a nice upgrade but I will miss the speakers and sparkling stars on top of my Cosmos Max.
Unfortunately you can never get win/win case. You will have to compromise something. To be honest the Harmon Kardon speakers are great on the horizon pro so it’s not a loss.
To be honest I don’t know you can download movies from Disney+ to usb stick. If you manage to download it, then yes it will work. In the worst option, you can connect the projector to your phone as hotspot or mirror cast it to watch content from the net.
Xgimi have netflix and is work.
Update repaired this.
Excellent review. I think the XGIMI would be perfect if it had Netflix.
It does have Netflix, just not natively. It doesn't do 4K but I'm ok with my steaming device attached to it so.
Xgimi kills nebula with the obstacle avoidance, you can basically use it anywhere. With nebula u need a full wall and a certain distance
Look up The Hook Up for the real review with the right video and pictures
What about maximum screen size? Are they same?
Bought nebula and unfortunately we cannot customize sharpness or color settings . Will compare with XGIMI Bc I bought too in black Friday offer.
Strange. You can change sharpness and colour.
I was able to but it can happen only through app. I was not able to do from remote. Very strange.
Otherwise picture quality is superb in nebula

I agreed ass well xgimi I'm thinking in getting myself the other one is way to expensive it just bit brighter that's all going for it
ITS Not the Horizon pro you have Tested Like you say Here in this Video !!! ITS Just the Horizon - so a comparison is useless then. Sorry Bro

What about 3D feature..you have not talked about it
I’m afraid we did not have the 3D glasses 👓
Been waiting for this for a while
💯 Cosmos

Nebula Cosmos ain’t my taste
The cosmos is really powerful and very bright but it’s not for gaming. Other than that it ticks almost all boxes
Todey,is,todey❤,tomorrow,always,with you,,,yester,is, one
Compare the Xgmi to a Viewsonic, Ben Q, Optoma with the same specs.
Godis,one,worlde,,isone, ❤,
Do either of the projectors possess 3D functionality?
XGIMI Horizon Pro supports 3D but not sure about the Nebula Cosmos

Lamp projectors and laser projectors are two completely different things.
Buy yourself a laser projector.
Qual o input lag do Nebula?
Nebula is definite winner, but the question here is money, does it worth to pay extra 500 for that brightness difference.
I’m more inclined to XGIMI but again it’s personal preference. I am currently reviewing Nebula Capsule 3 portable projector and it’s really a game changer

Can the xgimi horizon pro be used outside for watching Disney+ without the internet. I mean are you able to download a film and watch it offline?
No you cannot load content to the projector as it does not have a memory file. However, you can load movies to USB stick and watch it offline.
@@APTechs so you just need to plug a usb stick in the back and download from Disney+ and leave it in the back to watch films outside?

Yes
@@eduardosapples1997 Disney+ doesn't let you download videos to external storage if I'm not mistaken.
Waw I was looking this 😭 I need to open cinema 🎥 in Africa can you please where I can get it please 🙏
you can get the horizon pro from banggood !! Greetings miki :)
