Honestly at the same time I understand why you'd think that, but I respectfully have to disagree. While sure, it may not involve the exact same feeling as just the Hunters Dream theme on its own, I believe it changes the vibe to be, at the same time melancholic and lonely with the rain, the birds also bring a sense of hope for the future. For the morning. Whether that hope is misplaced or not. The sound of birds in the hunters dream, something that isn't truly there, are almost like a hallucination in the hunters head, wishing for the song of birds, and indicator that the night of the hunt is over, and the morning has finally come. At least that's my own overly thought out reasoning for why it fits.

Absolutely. Bloodborne is a game that has SO much staying power. The hidden lore, the tiny details in this enormous, massive, wonderfully designed world, the memorable boss fights and music. There's so much of this game to love and think about and theorize about, still, to this day. And the only bad thing about Bloodborne is that we haven't either gotten a second one, or at the VERY least gotten a remaster, or PC port.
