You can! When you are creating your trip after you add a destination, go to the trip panel on the left of your screen. Hover over the image thumbnail, and click the three dots that appear. It gives you three options - set date, add note, and remove. Hope that helps!
Great question! If you make a trip round trip, the default really just adds your starting point as a way point to get you back home (or to your original start point). If you want the hotels the same on the return, I'd actually use the "Reverse Trip" feature instead and it will keep every way point the same, but in reverse order. :)
Hello ! Thanks a lot for the tips. For collaboration, does every member of the group need to buy Roadtrippers plus or is it a single license for the "creator" of the trip ?
This is a great question! As I understand it, even if they don't have Roadtrippers Plus, you can still invite your friends and they can still review, edit, and add waypoints!
When planning a trip can you put in times? I found where to put in a date but I was wondering if I could put the time we are leaving, etc. Thanks for the video it is super helpful.
I donʻt think so....that would be a great feature though! Update: You can!! Not sure if it's been there all along and I had missed it, but when you create a trip, head to the trip panel on the left side of the screen. When you tap or click the thumbnail, you should get a few options: set date, add note, or remove!
Thanks for the tutorial.. Is their a computer/desktop and mobile version? What’s the difference between the desktop version and the mobile version? Can I plan a trip using only my iPad or does that have to be done on a computer? Thank you.
I'm confused. When you first showed it on the website you're were working your way down the coast and numbering the destinations, but on the app you were going up the coast. What am I missing?
Great video. Any ideas how you'd plan a very long trip, whereby you might not be where you planned when you planned? Should you split it down to a number of trips? Thanks
I would do one of two things. 1) You could just not add dates and pick up where you left off. Or 2) Split up your trip into "legs" or "days" that are more predictable. I have done this in the past and it worked well!
Hi friends. These are great tips. Roadtrippers looks like a great app to help you plan the trip. And being able to remove a point from the trip looks like a very useful tool. I also like how you can choose a specific restaurants to include. Crater Lake is gorgeous, by the way. Thanks for sharing these tips. We have some videos you would enjoy. Come check them out when you get a chance.
Thanks for posting this!
We like "Left Coast Siesta" in Manzanita.
Yum! Looks super tasty!
Can you put in dates so you know which days you go to certain places?

Excellent tutorial for beginners. Thank you!
If you are wanting to do a round trip how do you add hotels for the trip back? It keeps adding it to the trip down?

There is a mobile version! I haven't planned a trip on my iPad yet, but I have on my phone and it should work the same!
How easy is it to add new attractions/waypoints that aren't already in the app/site?
Most locations are easily searchable (just like in Google Maps, etc), but it's super easy to enter a specific address as well.

Thanks😊
Youʻre welcome! Glad it was useful!
5 waypoints does not suffice I need a free alternative
Struggling to use it effectively
Why is that? I am considering paying for it
I’m sorry to hear that John. What are you getting stuck on? I’m happy to help!
Sound quality drove me away…

Thanks so much! We love using it on our trips for sure. And, yes - Crater Lake is awesome!
