    We also make puliyitta keerai for porichakuzambu.we also add a little urad dhal along withcoconut.others same.we are also from Tirunelveli.

    In Agrahara recepies too they did nellika pachadi , poricha kuzhambu same as you did. We do not add kadugu in nellika pachadi. We grind nellika, pachamilaga, coconut and then add thayir. We fry kadugu and karuvepilai..

      Yes.. we are from same village, hence our cooking methods mostly be similar. Adding mustard seeds is optional.

    My favorite nellikai pachadi.I remember my granny used to make this,nellikai jam,gongurai chutney & raw tamarind chutney.Those were the days to enjoy granny's special authentic dishes😃

    For பொரித்த குழம்பு we use பெருங்காயம் at the time of tadka along with other things.

      It's available in Patels. You can also use the frozen one.

    idhukku peru arachu kalakki. idhukku araikka kadugu thevai illai.idhai k.mangai pottu pannumbodhum verum p.milagai and thengai sethu arachu,th.ennaiyil kadugu,perungayam m.vathal,karuveppilai pottu thalikka vendum. oru idea avlodhan,thappaga ninaikka vendam.
