In 1970’s Communist Albania Rozafa and Behar grapple with the choice to flee the country, knowing they condemn the family they leave behind to internment.
A little about the director: Student Academy Award-winning director Daniel Clark is a Colorado native and proud father of two. He lived several years in Albania, where he learned to cook, speak Albanian, and read palms. He is a scholar of the culture and lover of the country. A graduate of the BYU School of Animation, he entered the film industry as a special effects animator at Pixar Animation Studios. Screen credits include “Finding Dory”, “Incredibles2”, and “Frozen2”. He is currently working with Walt Disney Studios on “Raya and the Last Dragon”. He is a pianist, an Ironman, and a writer. He resides with his family in the San Francisco Bay Area.
