    This was the best review on this device. As a lawn and garden lover, you’ve provided a perspective that most consumers will be able to relate to. I believe this video will do very well on UA-cam. Kudos

    That was a fantastic review. I am amazed at all the things you think of for improvements in the app! That thing seems to have a personality; fun watching it go around. What a great product. Thanks for your review, Matthew. You're awesome!

      Thank you! A lot of it comes from just being so familiar with other home automation systems and feature sets I’ve seen elsewhere that I think would transition well to this product line. It’s awesome hardware and great software that could be even better with some fine tuning for the consumer.

    That was an excellent review, Matthew. Even tho I don’t have any lawn I found it fascinating. I think someone who is new to lawn care will find it very informative. I especially appreciated that when you listed the suggestions for improvements the tone was respectful. You end each video with “be a light”, you walked the walk. It always brightens my day when I see a new video from you. Thank you for taking the time to bring us along on your gardening ventures!

I'm glad that it is doing everything you thought it would, and saving you time to do your other projects. I always appreciate how thorough you are, and how well you explain things. Thank you so much for sharing!

    This is really helpful 😀- I’m seriously considering a robot mower, my goal is to reduce lawn to just pathways thru my plantings…so I really like to reduce the time & 💴 spent on lawn

    Thank you Matthew. While the mower would be WONDERFUL for our situation my 70 year old brain would not be able to figure out the technical side of the mower 🥺. We have approximately 3 acres of property and a good 2 of those 3 acres is lawn but there are many out buildings and obstacles that would have to be figured out and I KNOW that I wouldn’t be able to figure it out. It does sound like a wonderful product though ! 😊🌺💚🙃

    Great video. I have had my Luba 2 for 4 months now. My only comment is that, when it cuts the border (usually for me 3 circuits), it would be good if you could choose to change the direction of border cut so that it could be alternated to improve quality of the border cut.

    Hi Mathew! I really enjoyed this review, lol, and I don't even have grass in my yard. I just think this device is so amazing and how I would purchase it no matter what the cost if I had a large property like yours to mow. It's truly amazing, I'm blown away with technology now days. It must really be life changing for people with large properties to mow. The one thing I was wondering throughout this whole video is how well this mower cuts the grass. But I guess it does the job by keeping the grass at a certain length like you said. and How much do those blades cost? Changing after every 50 hours of cutting with a property as huge as yours, dang that's a lot of blade changes. But anyways, this mower is still a must have in my books. It keeps your property looking great! Thank you for this video, I enjoyed it!!

    I have 3 soft maple trees on my property, the amount of sticks they throw is crazy so I would need to rake before every cutting. I really do like the Luba 2 I shared your video with my sister who has a bad back and I'm pretty sure she's buying one as I'm writing this.

    As I get older this may be an option for most of my yard, the only problem area is my ditch which is very deep and steep. Hopefully it will be an affordable option for me over the next few years.

    Thank you Matthew for this VERY informative review/video. I am interested in obtaining a "Robo-Cutter". Unfortunately, this model, as far as it has been developed, is not for me in the North of the UK. It is not cutting when it's raining! Especially, this year's so called "Summer" up here, when it is raining soooo often. I love your developing garden and your informative videos.

    Effectively you can use the blades four times. As well as flipping them you can use the second hole.

    It doesn't seem to be mowing to the edges. Can it be set up to mow the edges? Does the dock have to sit on the grass, or can it be set on concrete? Do you need an RTK system for the front AND back yard> Thanks!

    • @TheSouthernersNorthernGarden
      @TheSouthernersNorthernGarden  9 днів тому

      As I mentioned, it is not a replacement for regular string trimming. The dock could be put on concrete if you were willing secure it to the concrete. The dock can't freely move around because the bot has to back into it to securely connect to the charger. You only need one RTK system.

    What happens if it goes throug a small water puddle after heavy rain? Does it avoid it?

    • @TheSouthernersNorthernGarden
      @TheSouthernersNorthernGarden  4 місяці тому +1

      No. I don't think the puddle would bother it, but just like you shouldn't mow during or immediately after rain with your regular mower, you shouldn't with the Luba 2. The wet grass will get trapped under the deck and it will need to be cleaned as I mentioned in the video.

    I've had my Luba 2 for a couple of weeks, so I'm still tweaking the mow settings. I love being able to edge and work in the borders while Luba does the mowing. One change that I would really like to see is the ability to choose which direction the perimeter will be mowed. Mowing the perimeter in the same direction every time is pushing the grass flat, resulting in a poor cut. If there's already a setting for that, I haven't found it.

      Good suggestion! I think it always goes clockwise, so it would be nice to have it alternate, although I imagine the lines where the wheels are probably would remain the same.

    Nah 100% is bad for the battery, not worth it and it'll take just as long to reach 100% as it did to do 15%-80%.
