Thanks for the comment. There is free on-street parking along Southwood road at Sandy point and there are two beach access points that cut between the houses, one right at the end nearest the point, opposite Bosmere Road and one about half way between the point and Eastoke beach car park, opposite Nutbourne Road. All I would say, is please be respectful of the neighbours. If you are a group with only 3 or 4 cars, then on street should be fine, but if you are a large group with lots of cars, then it would be kinder to the locals if you park in Eastoke Beach carpark, which is pay and display.
@@christophersmith7714 No problem, glad to help. In terms of tides, either really. Just be aware that on springs, the flow out of Langstone harbour can be strong, around 3-4 kts. Key thing with this trip is to try and make sure you reach the northern end of the island at high tide.
Great video, thinking of this trip myself soon, this was really useful. Thank you 👍
Thanks so much. Glad you enjoyed the video and hope it was useful.
Great paddle James. Thanks for organising.
Thanks Martin. See you soon.
Looked like a great trip! Rest enjoyed the narration too
Thanks. Hayling is a really rewarding trip.
Is there good parking at South Point? I would love to do this trip. Great vid btw.

@@travelswithpaddles thanks for the info. It would be just me doing it or maybe one other. Can it be done on Spring tides or just Neaps?
