A lot of memories going to my late grandparents' house in Oakland (back when Oakland was a bit more civilized than it is right now). Having that tonnage restriction really does help with the traffic, but all bets are off once you hit either the 880 connector or the 80 interchange.

Nice video. Being relatively new to the Bay Area I haven’t experienced 580 beyond the route 13 exit. It’s a short cut to 24, avoiding some of the tunnel traffic.
