Ice Cap Zone actually came from the Jetzons "Hard Times" but the keyboardist of the band was also an assistant with Michael Jackson and they both worked on the soundtrack to the game.

It really sucks for me cause Sonic 3 was the first video-game I beat and first Sonic game I beat. Least I got the DS collection last year to play on 2DS XL. Sadly, the frame rate is bad when losing rings.
