These videos are pure gold. I’ve been playing Sim since day 1 and there’s loads of stuff here I don’t know 👍🏼👍🏼
I'm glad this was useful!
Well done! This guide is amazing
Amazing guide thank you!
Excellent tips!
This is so helpful! I just started playing Dhalsim and he's hella fun! Bookmarked and subbed!
Glad it helped!
Awesome video!
Great video. Love and blessings!
Thank you my friend, I will continue to pump these videos out for you guys!
Thank u 🎉🎉🎉
Tyvm for the vid 🙏 🧘♂️ 🔥
Dhalsim main here.
I refuse to Zone unless it's against Gief or Marisa. Everyone else on the roster gets the 5 Finger Death Grip.
My rushdown can be absolutely insane sometimes.
Rushdown Dhalsim is too fun
💙🙏💙
I hope necro gets added to sf6
One of the many things I struggle with immensely as Dhalsim is canceling his Heavy Yoga Blast into Level 3 super; as I have an insufferably hard time sliding my thumb across the C stick in a double z motion after Yoga Blast. Is the timing between the two moves supposed to be instant? Does it have to be executed in a rhythm? And is there an easier method I should know of that doesn't feel extremely uncomfortable in classic controls? Please help!
That cancel is a real pain. I play on a Snackbox so double quarter circles aren't too difficult for me but it really is about being quick and inputting lvl 3 immediately after completing the Heavy Blast motion.
@@Narath_FGC Geez... that's going to be draining on my hands to master. Thanks for answering though! I was right to assume that it's one of Dhalsim's most hardest techniques to perform.
@@GBA-049 It definitely is. You'll get it eventually but it's tough. I learned it on stick and keyboard (since I play on pc) and it was a lot easier on keyboard. Not sure how it would feel on controller but I would imagine it's also really tough.
When does a walk back shimmy work better than jumping? I thought they would work the same?
It depends on the spacing you're in from particular knds. Dhalsim's walk speed is really slow so often times you won't be able to walk out off their grab range in time so baiting delay tech with float is just more consistent.
Ok the video is actially awesome, but could you not cover the entire screen with your subtitles? xD
ahh my apologies! I appreciate the criticism and will try to make the subtitles more cleaner next video
Plat 4 Dhalsim here. Wanted to ask when do you usually go for wakeup supers? After 15k LP, more players expect them and probably around 50% of wakeup supers are whiffed or blocked and I lose the round. And also, how important are drive reversals? As I'm trying to add them to my defensive repertoire.
There's not really a "guideline" on when to do wakeup reversals as it's all dependant on your opponent's decisions. It really just depends on whether they keep pressing their offense or not. If it works out then great and if not then oh well it wasn't the right decision for the moment.
I like to drive reversal when they DR in blockstrings or vs certain special moves as its guaranteed in those scenarios. Sim unfortunately AFAIK has the slowest drive reversal.

Block strings?
Zoner ≠ defensive, zoner means just means "characters who specialize in controlling space (zones if you well)"
Guile isn't a zoner because he's defensive and uses a projectile, he's a defensive character not a zoner
