- (original screencap is from the film 'princess mononoke' by studio ghibli!) i had a lot of fun with this one, screencap redraws are always enjoyable! coloring it wouldve been more accurate if i did it digitally but i decided to keep the full speedpaint traditional.

This is one of my favourite movies, it's so beautiful and it tells an amazing story. I love her mask and her character, how she never backs down. Such a magical film, but also quite dark. Your art is amazing and captures her beauty.

When I saw the beggining how you chose to not draw the head first I was suprized because In many of my experiences that has failed misribly but this is beautiful and amazing, this is only one of the first or second times watching your videos and I am completely blown away

i always start with the head so i was ready for the worst but it surprisingly worked out, most likely bc i copying the reference but sTILL

I've always loved this film since I was younger, albeit it was terrifying for a small child, and this brings back memories of being completely freaked out by the infected bull thingy.

But I was wondering if for future screencap drawings, would you try also drawing the background? I know you specialize in characters and that backgrounds aren't your forte, but I think it would be a great challenge and learning experience and would definetly help you level up even more with your art skills!
