My native language is Persian. I've been learning English for the last ten years (Learning languages is a never-ending process, and I TRULY enjoy it.) I also know some Spanish, and recently, I have started learning French. It feels like learning new languages is the most important thing I have to do. 🥰

My boyfriend speaks and reads Farsi. I admire him because it is really difficult for us (I am Czech/Central Europe). After all, Farsi has a completely different alphabet, numbers, sounds, and grammar rules. I used to learn Russian, it has a different alphabet too but it is still a Slavic language so it is quite easy to understand. I speak also English (this is my favorite language) and German, I also know some Spanish but I am pretty sure I won't be able to learn Arabic, Farsi, or Japanese because of their alphabet or sounds.

Well, I'm from Brazil🇧🇷 and i started my journey to learn english about half of the last year and my english is evolving, i start doing online english classes (for free, and the course is pretty good), watching a lot youtube videos, listening to podcast and doing shadowing, im writing in english with the words that i have learned at the week, and let's keep going 💪
And for anyone from Brazil who wants to know what the course, it's on a app called kultivi, there is for english, french, German, Italian, chinese, japonese and others that I don't remember

Grammar and vocabulary:introductions( introduce yourself and other peoples), greetings, occupations, country and nationalities, alphabet, numbers, tell the time, simple past and simple present, numbers and address, places in town (like restaurant, drugstore),

It's a pity that I can understand 95% of all your videos without subtitles, but when it comes to speaking, I drop to A1 level. During conversations, my grammar becomes a mess, and I almost forget all of my vocabulary

Hi Veronika, I'm from Indonesia 🇮🇩, ofc Bahasa Indonesia is my native language. But because of i was born in Java, I can speak Javanese (Bahasa Jawa) very well too.
I learned English back then when i was at school. But after that i start to learn Dutch which has a lot of similarities (words/vocab) between Bahasa Indonesia & Dutch (ofc because Indonesia once colonized by the Dutch). But as time goes by, i find dutch quite difficult esp with the structure of the sentence, and I feel stuck & no progress.
So later I decided to learn another language which is Spanish, and it's quite easy with the way we pronounce the letter/ the word, it's definitely similar to Bahasa Indonesia as well as Dutch, unlike English which quite confusing sometimes 😅. And i feel so me encanta with my Spanish lesson now ❤❤❤.

Hi Veronica, My native language is Spanish and my goal language is English, in this point i can understand a lot (well, sometimes) for example I understand this video 80%, actually my biggest problem it’s the grammar and talk, I think I can improve my grammar but talk in English it’s very complicated because I don’t have people that speak English, but well I will continue learning, your videos are very good for learn it!😊
I'm from Brazil and I have the same problem. In Brazil just 2% of population is fluent in English, it's awful, nobody speak English here. I don't anyone for practicing my speaking.
I’m from Brazil and I’m learning English. My grammar and writing are horrible, but I can understand you very well the whole video. I can listening podcast, watching videos and movie, but I cannot handle very well a conversation
Me too. I'm from Minas Gerais. I can understand series, podcast and I can read some books, but speak and write is hard for me. The reason for that is I don't have anyone for practicing my speak. Sorry for the mistake, I don't write very well.
@@lucasdaniel98 we could talk to each other to practice our English. I don’t know if you feel comfortable, but I think this could be a good option. I often enter in a website to talk with people around the world, but I must confess, is difficult to understand people from Indian, Egypt and others places.

This year I want to learn german, and sometimes I feel anxious because I just start and just see that I have so many things to learn is wow, but I really want do it, is something that makes me exited, I want to try and I don't want to give up just because seems hard.

Я иду в своём собственном темпе и доволен тем, что понимаю предложения или абзацы когда читаю их..я слушаю видео на Ютубе и по-прежнему ужасно пишу. Я не против использовать переводчик , как в этот раз, чтобы убедиться,что я понял вопрос и что мой ответ говорит то,что я хочу ,это говорить..Все практично и применимо к любому языку...
Что касается английского:

I'm still in the process of trying to learn Spanish. I wanted to because my brother studied it in school and I was impressed with his speaking ability when he was in conversation with someone from Venezuela once. Then I want to learn German because I want to interact with my German online friends in their native language. I learned English and Russian simultaneously growing up and never really went beyond that, but I'm also looking for ways to improve my Russian fluency too even though I mainly only speak it with family and there is nobody to practice with usually. So it's not really 'learning it', more so perfecting it. (For 'level' sake, I'd say I'm Intermediate Fluent as a Heritage Speaker in that).
I hope to achieve these goals, so that I can speak Spanish on a good level, and so I can hold a conversation in German with my online friends without struggling, and so that I don't have to switch to English because it's "easier" when I speak to native Russian speakers. But I feel like it's going to be difficult.
