I started learning English in 2020 by myself and yes it’s absolutely changed my life. I started to watch amazing lectures on English and it helped my to perform better on my medical exams. I agree with your opinion. I'm Japanese. So, studying English is learning another language. When I was a student, studying English was bored. Because English is just subject, and I've never learned how to enjoy. But I restarted study English via internet recent few years. This time, The purpose of studying English is just for enjoy. I usually chat with many country people through online lesson. I can understand their feeling, their culture. I can exchange our opinion. and I can get many knowledge. In addition, I can completely forget bad feeling when I speak English. This is awesome.
I started learning English 3 years ago because I thought it would be a great idea. At first, I took classes in a school, and everything was good, but then I realized that during the first month, I was completely motivated because of learning English, but the next months I had just been going to the school without learning English. In the next year, I took English more seriously, I started reading books in English, watching movies and UA-cam videos in English, and using the Elsa Speak App as well. Now I can say that everything has worthed a try, I am the best student in my classroom, I have achieve an intermmediate level in the language and thanks to all of these things next June I will be attending a summer camp in the States. I think learning English and other languages will change my life, I have promised myself that in two years, I will have leveled up my English level.
I CANNOT express how learning English has changed my life!🤯🇺🇸 I've made one of my dreams come true - I've visited NEW YORK!🗽 I've become more disciplined and confident. about accents. yeah, i agree with that fact, that different accents owned by different people, sound very interesting and attractive. but don’t you think that more attractive sound exactly people who have no accent at all. imagine guy, who speaks russian natively, can in one second switch to english and speak with no accent at all, then switch to spanish for example, and do the same thing. it would be absolutely incredible, and i tend to think that it would sounds much more attractive also.
I'm Brazilian, and at the moment, I'm studying Korean and English. I'm not confident with my English because I have difficulty with English writing. On the other hand, I'm confident with my Korean writing skills. Speaking in these languages is a challenge for me. Ps: I had to correct this text.

That's true your words, here in São Paulo, Btazil, I make money just because I can speak English, not perfect of course , but the enough to teach begginers. That's a good point of view, you know? Many foreigners at La Condesa or La Roma which are the fanciest and most expensive spots at the city chooses to live in those zones just because there they can live with another english speakers, the rest of the city it's just not part of their interest. And sometimes they even have misbehaviours like taking a walk with their pets with no belt, and it's frustrating to see how they can do all of they want just because they have money, and even it's a common saying "what they don't speak english? I mean, it's 2023! Mexicans should learn my language so I can be able to communicate them what I'd like" again, frustrating but there's people who respect our community and even have a minimum knowledge of spanish so they can shop or go to the Zona Rosa just to have fun.
