The tin bowl is very typical of Guangdong, it looks small but it actually holds a lot. And what is you kitty's name?

I love the tin bowls, they do hold a hold and are especially good for rice or noodle meals. I actually have 7 cats, Nage Mao, Mars, Baby, Fluffy, Prince, Princess, and Savage.

I’d be keen to see more examples of what you’d spend on meals out.

Near the end, I ordered Western food. I could eat out daily and get Chinese food, which would still cost around 30 RMB a meal, but I want more protein than carbs, so it's better to cook at home. I probably will do an updated series where I only eat out for meals, but I still haven't decided if I would eat takeout for breakfast, as I am very keen on eating the same breakfast at home each day.

@@collyslifeadventureinchina Yes I saw this. Even just restaurant dinner options eating out for a week would be good. I'm moving to Guangzhou to teach in July so your videos are most appreciated and helpful!

The visa process is very, very tedious. A criminal record check and all documents notarized and authenticated is only the first step. Then, the medical checks and working with your school's agent to apply for the visa are just extra time and costs, but it's worth it in the end. I assume you are getting that all done in your country. I came to visit my wife first so I ended up doing everything here.@@VaVaVoom141

@@collyslifeadventureinchina Yes I’m going to be working for a private international school. I am just starting the process of legalising documents in England now. It is quite a process but think it will be worth it all once I’m out there!

I have two electronic boxes, so it's very minimal. It was just transportation and personal food, not even calculating my wife, lol.

I don't like to get into politics, but I will say one thing. There is a ton of propaganda about China saying so many negative things that are the exact same in Western countries, just looked at with a different lens. I moved to China from Canada for a reason. I would rather be in China currently than in Canada as it only took one leader to ruin the country, and the same can go for any country. There is no more 996, and the cost of living, along with doing things with your family, is very affordable for all in China. Family and affordability for life enjoyment is very important.

      もちろん、日本のニュースだけを見ていると、あなたが得る情報はすべてネガティブな結論になります。実際には、世界経済全体があまり良くない状況ですが、中国は単に日本のメディアの攻撃対象になっているだけです。

Don't fall for the lies by the mainstream media and governments in the west and Japan. In reality China has more freedom and wealth than the west or Japan.

Japan is the most dictatorial country. How can a country that crushes its people be a free country? In China, even if you live a much better life than in Canada, the United States and Japan, you will find that you still have a balance to put in the bank. In the West you are squeezed to the point where you bleed to pay off your credit card every month.

The most significant difference is that in the West you need to save money to travel. In China, you only need to think about where to travel for the size of your bank balance.
