its been sold and changed into a private luxury villa, completely renovated. the new owner had no consideration for the dark history of the villa and wanted to change the cellar in which amon killed and tortured many into a hobby room. yep.

Trochę szkoda,że został kupiony bo gdyby państwo zrobiło w nim muzeum zamiast w tym szarym to myślę że byłoby to dużo ciekawsze.
Zarówno ze względu na to iż jest on ładniejszy,jak i wartość historyczną oraz na sam fakt że możnaby wejść na balkon z którego strzelał Göth i zobaczyć jak wyglądał obóz z tamtego miejsca.
Oczywiście 'Szary Dom' też ma wartość historyczną,bo z tego co czytałam podczas II wojny światowej była tam katownia... No ale 'Willa pod skałą'...mam wrażenie że jest jakoś bardziej związana z tym miejscem.
Ale już nic z tym nie zrobimy.
Po co kolejne muzeum utrzymywane z naszych podatkow? Malo masz tych muzeow? Juz teraz na utrzymywanie tego co jest ida kosmiczne pieniadze z naszych podatkow, a Ci w interesie ktorych jest utrzymywanie pamieci o tych miejscach nie dokladaja sie ani zlotowka. Malo tego, jeden z obozow ktory stal sie miejscem masowych pielgrzymek w mysl jakiejs ideologii, doi co roku wiecej i wiecej pieniedzy z budzetu. A teraz jest pomysl by caly oboz byl obszarem autonomicznym i niezaleznym od panstwa polskiego ale.... utrzymywany przez panstwo polskie. Chlopie, u nas z kranow plynie woda a nie ropa.

The balcony faces the camp and to add, he never sniped the Jews from that balcony in real-life as trees would have partially obscured the view of the camp.

@@Jarzyn44 There could have been trees during that period and there was a hill that also obscured Goth's view of the camp. He would either ride his horse or hike up to the hill and would shoot from there.
