I reached platinum in less than a month and I have been doing it since last week in September till now and have 440 deliveries and they still dropped my status to gold said I didn't have the 100 in 30 lol such a joke
Yeah I am very annoyed with having to constantly take a picture of my pizza bag even though it's verified in my info already lol just more and more B's to get us aggravated
I think alcohol should always be be a premium for the driver since there is an increased responsibility for the driver. I have only ever seen what seems to be base pay for the orders. It’s ridiculous because I also had to pay myself for the training.
Improvements for DoorDash. 1) improve accuracy on delivery location. I’m tried of trying to convince DoorDash that I’m at the correct house or worse the gps sends me to the wrong house. 2) allowing me to avoid certain locations that are too far to drive. 3) improve cell service. I run into dead zones constantly.
I was with you until you said you wanted them to improve cell service. I hate to break it to you, but they are not a cell phone company. They cannot do anything about cell service.
Not a dasher app improvement but the customer DD app. When shopping for a chain location have the search bar open up locations closest to the customer instead of choosing a say Walgreens or 7-11 for instance 15 miles away where there is one 1 mile away from them.
I hear that but imo that's never going to come, just too highly valued as internal data. Bet they'd argue that we get a general guide with the "Busy" "Very Busy" etc markers
Yes I don’t understand why they won’t show how many dashers is online so we can make a choice if we want to dash at that time or not….but you’re right they won’t do that because that will cause more dashers to work if they see that there’s too many dashers online at the time
Auto refresh the app after delivery dropoff to refresh the earnings on the top right, so the app refreshes for the next offer. Most of the time, the app doesn't refresh, and the app assumes you are still on delivery and doesn't give you offers. When I manually refreshes, either you get shadow banned or get disconnected from the server and not get offers for 1 hour.
I think you are right on this one, I never thought of it that way. For me, the earnings never refresh after delivery. I would go back and forth between the main screen (map with all sub-markets and the hotspots) to refresh it. I would drive back to hotspot (8 minutes), wait another 10 minutes, still no offer. it does take about 20-60 minutes to get another offer. By that time, i multi-app.
Happens a lot. What I do is if my earnings are not showing up immediately after drop off, I will pause my dash, click view home screen, then return to dash. This will update “This Dash” earnings with the last delivery.
Hey Mike, I think Doordash and other gig apps should have an option to report the restaurant. It should have pre-written options or the option to write a custom note about that restaurant. The reason I say that is because some restaurants seem to ignore or not prioritize orders that are going for the delivery guys. That does not seem correct, because often we wait several minutes for our food to be prepared, when we already took several minutes driving to the location, while walk-in customers get their food prepared ASAP. Sometimes, some restaurant employees do not even come to us to ask what is the name on our order, and we sit there waiting for them to approach us when they feel like it (and the food is already prepared sitting on the shelf and getting cold).
I do always click that "report an issue" -- ordered not started until I arrived etc as I feel that's gotta flag their merchant account if they get too many of those flags. Granted you can also always report anything egregious with support as well.
@@YourDriverMikeI will check all that apply, (busy, long line, not started, etc.) PLUS the “Something else” where I will utilize voice to text to provide specific details causing the delay (hey, I’m waiting, not much else to do, might as well). I have 17,600+ deliveries and I agree! Although the real number is closer to 18,300 but when the rewards system rolled out with all its bugs it reduced my lifetime deliveries by around 6,700! And they never fixed it for me!

I'm fine with the pictures of the receipt if you're looking at the phone, you know it's coming and you can just take it real quick. It also gives me a chance to show off the fact that I'm using my thermal bag. But I'm with you with the item check stuff the stuff we're asking to rip apart the bag and put it back together. I've never had a single merchant be willing to rip apart a bag just cause the DoorDash app told me too to tell them to. Its useless for them to ask us if its a real problem they need to put it on merchant end
I started doordash a week ago and it allowed me to dash now in my area any time I wanted. My zone was always red but now as soon as i had 50 orders and get silver rating (should be gold because i have high ratings in everything else besides 67% acceptance) I cant dash now any more and it wants me to go like 40 miles away to a busy zone to dash when i know my zone is busy right now during lunch time. It feels like doordash is just playing mind games with me and trying to make me do what it wants me to do Some great rewards thank you so much door dash!
Yea it’s dumb that we need to keep our acceptance rate at 70% for dash now. That’s why I have Uber eats cuz you can do it 24 hours if you wanted. My AR on DoorDash is 85 but I only do a couple a day until I get it back to 90%. I had dropped all the way to 79%
@howdydoody8258 That's your initial honeymoon period where you are initially platinum as part of your trial week. After the week, your ratings come into play, and that's when you lose your platinum status when you fail to meet the requirements for it, thus losing your dash now.
@@danimarflores190 Yesterday I got an order for 18 miles for 10 dollars. They expect us to basically pay these people to bring them their food for them in order to keep platinum. Its a sad business model. Im just going to stick to low acceptance rate because even at gold im getting trash offers.
Wish there was a way to avoid any trips going to particular geographic areas. Also a 'Dash on the way home' option would be nice at the end of your shift. Only getting offers headed in the direction of your home.
Just added this to the pinned comment, what about a notification on the offer screen that would tell you if the offer would take you OUT of your current zone. Because sometimes I just don't realize until after I complete the delivery.
@WhiskeyBravo85 dash on the way home is a good idea. The app weirdly gives me offers that go way far from my home in the last 20 mins before the end of my shift. E.g. $20+ going 10 miles away. if my shift ends 2pm, it actually ends near 3pm when I get home. 😮💨
I like the different pay options. The higher your delivery count gets, the more incentives you can earn. Also, each tier should earn different amounts; if I'm accepting more offers to be platinum I should not be going home at the end of the day with the same amount as a silver or gold tier driver.
Technically that makes sense, Platinum has highest priority so they should generally be getting better offers. An additional step-tier system would be nice though to really ensure you're always making more money (generally) than Silver/Gold
You should be able to block out cities that you don't feel safe in or have smaller zones. My wife doesn't feel safe in Flint MI, so she drives to the next high income zone. Or simply put the customers address in the offer screen.
On the map that appears with the offer card, tapping on the house icon will tell you the address of the customer. I don't know why they do that but don't just list it on the card itself, it's just a hassle when it doesn't need to be. There's a few regulars that I've gotten excessively harassed by around my city, I usually recognize just from a glance at the map if it's then but you can always double check by tapping the house icon on the map
I like milestones rewards for deliveries ie: 3, 5k, 19,15j etc. I do remember $3 base pay.. paying for each stacked order. More preference filters!! Pickup and Delivery by on front screen.. many great ideas. Mike, thanks for continuing the good fight for Drivers. Happy New Year!!!🎊
Simply one thing that would fix a lot of stuff is just to pay us for the job we do. Pay us for for distance and time. Take away the tier programs, the games, and acceptance rating and just pay us, whether through base pay or tip it doesn't matter. Also take care of older drivers that have experience before the new drivers. Lastly make the large order program back to having to be invited in to it.
Or even the subdivision. I click to see address but still have to zoom if I dont recognize the street. I know subdivisions and specific neighborhoods. And like to avoid the ghettos.
A little hack to get around not being scheduled for an area and you don’t have premium is to hit any area in the city that does have availability and hit dash along the way. You won’t get many offers though because the area is slow but you still will get offers.
Another technique that works for my specific city, which may or may not work for every city or zone, is to schedule in advance for the zone closest to where you live, then switch to the desired zone once you actually arrive.
Honorable mention- the biggest thing that I think would make my experience a little better is that instead of driving to hot spots I wish the app would let me drive to a restaurant I would prefer. Not saying I’m going to get an order from that place I just hate that I’m only limited to hot locations(because they change) sometimes I just like going to the same spots for consistency in my driving habits.
I'm shooting for the stars on this idea, but, no zone restrictions for top tier (Platinum) dashers. So basically take whatever orders, wherever you are, whenever.. Just a thought 🤔
one thing I would love to have is being able to copy customer address to clipboard like if I'm waiting at the restaurant I usually look it up on Google maps in advance but I have to enter the address manually every time and that's kinda annoying
For the love of god! Please put that acceptance rate example into our rating so we can see our rolling 100 offers and actually know when our rates will increase
Spot on with these suggestions heavy on the milestone rewards and the gamification perhaps compete for top dashers or have a meter that keeps pace with your average so you can outdo your highest warning day/ week
Id like a graph for a particular time period on each restaurant telling me how many doordash orders were placed. So I could click on the restaurant and see the past week of order transactions and at what time they happened. Kinda like how google tells you when a business is busy. And also maybe something indicating the price level of said transaction. If that's not too much to ask. Kinda like the $$$ u see on restaurant reviews... I could pick my targets better with that information
2 things I’d suggest that have to do with shop and deliver. 1 stop the automatic messages (once the fridge wasn’t working so I got packs of Gatorade instead of the individuals) so two different packs replaced a bunch of individuals but the app still messaged each time i refunded. 2 let us manually add items. The customer wanted an item that wasn’t in doordash inventory. We should be able to manually add.
if they can get info to know how long it will take to deliver and consider the traffic they should make it where they can also check it to see how busy a store is so they rate the time it will take to get there and make it accurate
Remove zones. It would get more orders done not quieting about gib back to a spot. They let people order from two zones away. They could keep 30% orders for dashers
@@YourDriverMikeI promise I work two zones from uptown charlotte and it'll be mostly BJ stores. But still. Two zones away. I've gotten one goin back to the zone I live in which is more than two zones from the zone I work. I took one once. Don't like the 30 plus min drive
The app needs to improve the alcohol deliveries in general. I think they need to have the customer send a pic of their ID and/or scan it BEFORE they order. I’m sorry but showing up to someone’s door who has an expired ID or used their parents account or something and trying to return alcohol is a mess. Especially if it wasn’t a short distance yet legally you have to return it.
The one button problem I have is if I accidentally hit Pay by hour and I wanted to do Pay per order -I’m stuck with Pay by hour because DoorDash makes you schedule your Dash and you have to end dash and can’t get back to your originally scheduled Dash. There is no way to switch back once you hit that pay by hour button. Why not add a “Are you sure?” button. That’s one of the reasons that I started doing Uber eats along with DoorDash.
I agree that the end dash should confirm that you want to end because it is too easy to end your dash accidentally. Also, wish the offer map would have an outline of your zone to show you if the order will take you out of zone before you accept it. I also like the idea of seeing an estimated time to complete an order to be on the offer screen similar to Uber. I wish we could rate customers and block orders from certain customers for reasons like aggressive dogs, sketchy stairs and porches, driveways or dirt roads that can damage your car, etc.
Their should be a little notification sayintg you have 5 mins left while on pause or something like that because I put it on pause while I'm doing like a spark shopping order and forget to unpause and repause. Also allow us to see total lifetime customer rating.
*Add limits to delivery distance. *Require a minimum tip %. *Allow shopping orders at grocery stores like Meijers to use self check out. * free fuel program = offer rewards like gas cards for premium Dashers with high metrics , frequent flyer dasher rewards for full time dashers!!!
might be asking for much but it would be nice if they changed the tiers to when u unlock a tier you keep it for a limited amount of time unless u drop out of and remain out of that tier for a number of days
The guaranteed pay for an hours on Platinum! We do not get the best offers. That might stop them sending me 12 miles out of town during lunch for 5 or 6 hours? Catering orders to brand new drivers? Guaranteed hourly pay for platinum is deserved!
Dude, Dashmart orders are the most upside-down orders I've ever received! Like $9 for 12 miles, as an example. I think they offer deals for new shoppers and a lot of them don't tip as well!
My problem is with 12, they added these shop and pay ratings without giving support the ability to adjust for uncontrollable problems like all the freezers at aldis being broken requiring a refund for a large proportion of the list and destroying your stats thus knocking you off pro shopper status.
Its probably just me b/c im a mom who dashes when im already doing tons of errands driving across the dallas metroplex... but, if im already going a certain direction, I'll take a not so great offer in the direction im going b/c im already heading there. I wish you could say which direction you will take orders. That way they can offload the crap paying orders to the people they know will take them- based on tur direction its being delivered.
Doordash really needs to vet the apartments, I agree with the comment or make a statement about the GPS routing through the back parts of the apartment which really frustrates me and I tend to waste a lot of time backtracking through traffic to find the main entry of the apartment complex, I almost got caught doing a shopping list for a customer where I would have to deliver six cases of water to a third floor, which had no elevators. I am 57 years old that would’ve probably killed me. There’s gotta be a way to put a limit on stuff like that.
I never had an audit delivery, and im telling you, if i get one, im cancelling the order. aint no way im gonna make them unpack every item when they're in a rush
An In-app Realtime Leader board with other Dashers of Ur same tier would be Fantastic as well as when Ur competition Dashers are or are Not online, even if say the Top 5 of each tier of each zone. Its Honestly NOT that hard to Integrate, MMORPGS have had this technology for Decades Already, i mean Seriously DD, this Isnt the Stone Ages. Good Lord.
I have almost 12,000 deliveries. It really irritates me that I get a email congratulating me for doing an alcohol delivery. But not even a wink or a nod when I hit 5000 or 10,000. I used to be listed as a top Dasher but-the food delivery scene is very very tough. People just will not tip. I do DoorDash and Uber eats. I can’t afford to be top Dasher or top Uber. If I have to keep my acceptance rate up to be a top driver, that means I have to take all the orders that will not make me any money. And I’m not naïve enough to think that Dash DoorDash and Uber eats doesn’t know this 😊
I signed up two days ago and I can't seem to get not 1 dash. I got a popup saying it was busy and it was over when I clicked on it. I'm in NYC by the way.
Shop and deliver orders are among my least favorite. Once I got a stacked order. It was going to the same customer. It was a great dollars to miles ratio. I want to say DD played a trick. The first order was only 2 items. The 2nd shopping order was FORTY SIX items!!!! It was going to a truck stop so that was the guy's entire month's grocery shopping but wow. After that I'm not so sure it was worth it.
How many customers place orders when drivers are unavailable? If you limit drivers would it limit number of interested customers. Loosing the opportunity to get Triple STacked routes when AR hits 69 over and over again.
Your last item - get paid something if you arrive at a restaurant and they say another dasher picked it up - literally happened to me tonight. When I called the customer support, I received what sounded like an AI generated response. That was a first for me. After about 5 minutes, I finally got a real person on the line. I spent at least 20 minutes on the phone with her. She wanted me to go back in the restaurant and ask them to remake the order. I didn't like that idea, and neither did the restaurant because they refused. Another 10 minutes on the phone with her, and I told her I wanted to get paid something for using my time and fuel to get to the restaurant. I told her it wasn't my fault that someone else had picked it up and I received the order she ultimately ended up giving me half pay for the offer. What was supposed to be a 5-minute trip for a one mile delivery ended up being 50 minutes for half the pay. Needless to say, I 100% agree with you on this one.
It's happened to me 4 times in the last month. I didn't get anything the first time. After that, I decided to circumvent the automated support by asking for an agent three times without saying anything else. Also, when I explained that the order had been picked up by another driver earlier, and I was the third or fourth driver to get screwed out of the offer, I specifically stated that I should be paid for my time getting to the store and losing out on other offers. I also mention that they used to do that all the time. One other thing I do is to make sure Doordash understands that they have to cancel the order for other drivers to not get screwed out of the same thing.
My Mom can't shop and deliver yet DD still sends her shop type orders despite the fact that she turned it off. (It's a weight thing, she has a hernia and can't lift things over 15lbs so DD is hurting her by sending her orders that require her to lift more than 15lbs.) I can shop and deliver, but it'll be nice to know that if you turn the option off that DD STOPS sends those kinds of orders, there's a reason people are opting out of shop and deliver orders
There's only two things that I really want. I should be able to blacklist a restaurant if I don't want to go there. I shouldn't get penalized constantly for declining it. Also, if customers and restaurants could rate us, why can't we rate them? We should also be able to rate them so that doordash is aware of what bad apples exist.
One thing I would like to see is the tip amount for pay by time. It pisses me off when I get done with the delivery and find out I wasn't tipped and made only 2 dollars, waste of time
How about: A bigger menu button. The pathetic little 3 bars are impossible to access first time, every time, like UE. An easier way too see scheduled dashes at a glance. Maybe a dot next to the scheduled days in the calendar. Show color shading (red) when in the active map while dashing, not just in the initial map when signing in. That way you can see if neighboring zones are active without ending your dash first.
If a customer thinks drivers are unavailable will they still place an order, loosing that delivery power when shut people down at 69 AR, keep tha app on and Triple STacks happen otherwise you know the alternative.
It would be helpful if messages from customers would pop up on the screen where it is obvious instead of coming through in the background. I usually don’t see messages from customers until I have to open my phone back up and see the notification on the Lock Screen.
Instead of showing us our acceptance rate percentage only, they should show us a chart. The same chart that they use to show you an example of your acceptance rate is calculated. If we can see that, we will know how close we are to bring it back up closer to 100%.
please allow us to rate customers and food places. I just had the absolute RUDEST service person at a restaurant who felt the need to talk on the phone with a friend while i was there telling them how dumb i was (right in front of me) for not knowing how the pickups are ran at a place ive never been before. I was so tempted to be rude back but i left
okay I would love to know all the destinations i will be going to.. not just a house without an adresss and city I get so mad because of only 30 seconds to decide and figure out all the other issues
They need to make there app where u don't need wi-fi or data to use there app to drop off or pick up in areas where u are in bad signal area like amazon flex does
DoorDash doesn't have to reduce the receipt/order photo frequency to make it better for Dashers. They could just make it so that we don't have to confirm pickup when we take a receipt/order photo. Receipt/order photos should be proof enough that we've picked up the order.
Maybe integrated? So "Confirm With Receipt Photo" instead of confirm picture - take receipt photo. Not a huge deal I just don't like having it in my bag already and having to dig it back out just for a picture.
For the love of God please ask them to change the default tip button. Tip averages of 10% ain't cutting it. People are lazy and don't want to fill in tip. So either add more tip suggestion tabs or raise the defaulted suggested tip higher and remove the percentages. Cause people tend to avoid tipping 30% or more. So if they don't realize its 30% they're more apt to tip it. Then from there add a default tip% suggestion when they go to put it in manually. Have it show what 15% 20% 25% 30%+ on that manual screen. The logic is if they're onto the next screen they're obviously looking to tip more then the suggested.
It lies on the shopping orders. 1 item is what it says alcohol delivery. Get to store and its pick up 30 items and a case of beer. It's b.s. and calling support to get compensation doesn't work
I think doordash should 1000% be paying out 2 base pays(some are up to 10 bucks and they are just pocketing it) when they add on a additional shop and pay even if your at the store. Straight up crooks for not paying it.
I wasted my whole day 🤬 just sitting waiting for an order because my scheduled time had ended and I did not know I had to click end when the time was up to start the next scheduled shift.
Honestly I would love to see an at-home earnings option. You could add 'verify store hours' Tasks there where you just call the restaurant. I'm curious what else they could add for at-home options.
Was it a stand alone shelf photo offer like this? ua-cam.com/users/live9YEhVpbfU_s?si=DMg9vy9Z6dJ_MTdj&t=409 if so you're paid what's shown on the offer card.

Everything your saying is everyones experience.
Wish there was a way to avoid any trips going to particular geographic areas. Also a 'Dash on the way home' option would be nice at the end of your shift. Only getting offers headed in the direction of your home.
That's a good idea 👍
I've found the decline tool to be fairly accurate in filtering out orders in undesirable neighborhoods.
@@YourDriverMike Yes, new dasher here. I was on my last delivery and ended up being 15 miles away from my zone at 1am very frustrating 😂
7:20 In detroit we have it saying "continue with pickup" which means a receipt photo is required, opposed to "confirm" which does not require receipt.
I totally agree with the GPS thing. I have the least amount of issues when I use the Apple Maps app
Thanks for sharing, I use the integrated Google Maps
Apple Maps regularly takes me to alleys in Washington, DC and wrong directions! It's frustrating. They need to update somehow. 🤦🏽♀️
Im kinda convinced it already rewards dashers at somewhere around 2k+ better but have zero ways of testing, it could also just be coincidence
I hear you, there have been trip filters like that before on Uber.
I would like to see on the offer card if it’s an apt or a house, so that way I don’t have to zoom in before accepting an offer.
Doubt if that one is going to happen.. they already have issues with drivers accepting apartment deliveries
Or even the subdivision. I click to see address but still have to zoom if I dont recognize the street. I know subdivisions and specific neighborhoods. And like to avoid the ghettos.
That would be nice, some other apps do that right? Remind me, Instacart does?
A little hack to get around not being scheduled for an area and you don’t have premium is to hit any area in the city that does have availability and hit dash along the way. You won’t get many offers though because the area is slow but you still will get offers.
You’ll also have to reset it every 30 minutes too if you aren’t getting offers but that really isn’t to bad
Another technique that works for my specific city, which may or may not work for every city or zone, is to schedule in advance for the zone closest to where you live, then switch to the desired zone once you actually arrive.
Thank you!!!! And I hope DoorDash is watching.
I'm going to send them this video/list
Pay milage separately
Can you detail what that would look like and the benefits vs the current structure?
We're not getting paid extra for the shelf photos and it's just an extra thing that we have to do for no more money
Shelf Photos are a new Task opportunity that are stand alone non-delivery assignments: ua-cam.com/users/live9YEhVpbfU_s?si=-YNZ7VCQTrvy25Zh&t=369
@YourDriverMike not in lake havasu city. They expect us to do it for free
Like the waypoints I mentioned. I mean honestly not that hard for us to just put it in our GPS at that point
Each level should pay different. Below silver base pay $2.00. Silver base pay $3.00. Gold base pay $4.00. Platinum base pay $5.00.
I'm shooting for the stars on this idea, but, no zone restrictions for top tier (Platinum) dashers. So basically take whatever orders, wherever you are, whenever.. Just a thought 🤔
No. I get tired of you out of towners coming into my small town to steal orders. If your zone is oversaturated too bad
Not a bad idea, I guess the submarkets just allow them to really gauge supply better than an open market? And also better contain that supply
one thing I would love to have is being able to copy customer address to clipboard
like if I'm waiting at the restaurant I usually look it up on Google maps in advance but I have to enter the address manually every time and that's kinda annoying
We used to be able to click the button but they ruined it with new updates
Shop and deliver. No penalties for poor service inside stores.
For the love of god! Please put that acceptance rate example into our rating so we can see our rolling 100 offers and actually know when our rates will increase
Great idea, show those accept/decline dots when we tap "Acceptance Rate" to see when and how it'll change
Never had to qualify or anything for alcohol delivery I just hit the button and there it was
Spot on with these suggestions heavy on the milestone rewards and the gamification perhaps compete for top dashers or have a meter that keeps pace with your average so you can outdo your highest warning day/ week
One thing I would like them do is on the offer screen, let us know if it is an apartment and what floor the delivery is to
2 things I’d suggest that have to do with shop and deliver.
I’ve done almost 12,000 deliveries and the most I’ve gotten for a pat on the back was that I had delivered alcohol.
if they can get info to know how long it will take to deliver and consider the traffic they should make it where they can also check it to see how busy a store is so they rate the time it will take to get there and make it accurate
way to go Mike all great updates hope Doordash sees this and takes this into account
Remove zones. It would get more orders done not quieting about gib back to a spot. They let people order from two zones away. They could keep 30% orders for dashers
In my area we get a feature that ask if we want to switch zones when we complete an order in a different zone than we started in.
Customers shouldn't order from too far away though because of delivery radiuses. Just prevents cold food/super far drives
I agree, casinos can get away with this, why not DoorDash?
The one button problem I have is if I accidentally hit Pay by hour and I wanted to do Pay per order -I’m stuck with Pay by hour because DoorDash makes you schedule your Dash and you have to end dash and can’t get back to your originally scheduled Dash. There is no way to switch back once you hit that pay by hour button. Why not add a “Are you sure?” button.
That’s one of the reasons that I started doing Uber eats along with DoorDash.
I totally agree we've earned the place that we're in
Like ride share I think they should make it possible to rate the customer. That would eliminate tip baiting.
I see what you mean, like order from a 4.5 star customer. I think customers would push back on that though
Here if I end dash, it pauses it then has the option to confirm end
I agree.
Their should be a little notification sayintg you have 5 mins left while on pause or something like that because I put it on pause while I'm doing like a spark shopping order and forget to unpause and repause. Also allow us to see total lifetime customer rating.
Set an alarm in your clock app on your phone. And set it 1 or 2 mins early. That's what I do.
I do like that, letting you know how much pause time you have left
The mi radius offer the Platinum would also be ideal. Let ebt do them
Dude, Dashmart orders are the most upside-down orders I've ever received! Like $9 for 12 miles, as an example. I think they offer deals for new shoppers and a lot of them don't tip as well!
I hear you, just keep declining. I definitely don't take every DashMart but logistically after accepting they've been pretty quick
My problem is with 12, they added these shop and pay ratings without giving support the ability to adjust for uncontrollable problems like all the freezers at aldis being broken requiring a refund for a large proportion of the list and destroying your stats thus knocking you off pro shopper status.
I like that, basically like "Worry Free Unassign" something similar
Its probably just me b/c im a mom who dashes when im already doing tons of errands driving across the dallas metroplex... but, if im already going a certain direction, I'll take a not so great offer in the direction im going b/c im already heading there. I wish you could say which direction you will take orders. That way they can offload the crap paying orders to the people they know will take them- based on tur direction its being delivered.
You have to find your own way back by google and put dd on pause till you get there.
Appreciate you sharing, I have seen on Google Maps they'll route you to an actual side of the building that has the main entrance which is nice
I never had an audit delivery, and im telling you, if i get one, im cancelling the order. aint no way im gonna make them unpack every item when they're in a rush
Ive had this happen accept offer then get there and already pucked up with no pay! Actually had the same exact dash cone thru 2 times in sane day
An In-app Realtime Leader board with other Dashers of Ur same tier would be Fantastic as well as when Ur competition Dashers are or are Not online, even if say the Top 5 of each tier of each zone.
Driver Mike, quick question for you, brother how do you feel if other drivers carry a legal firearm when they drive?
Doordash customers would like to know if drivers are available, how does AR affect availability. Are they placing orders when nobody is available.
It happened to me too! Customer service is lazy too.
Yeah our support is god awful
Especially because it always feels like a bait and switch at worst and an app glitch at best.
I would love to see half of these actually be a thing
One thing I would like to see is the tip amount for pay by time. It pisses me off when I get done with the delivery and find out I wasn't tipped and made only 2 dollars, waste of time
In ny we have to do 200 Deliveries to be Platinum
Really , that's crazy
And at least what 80 or 90% AR?
How about:
A bigger menu button.
Nice!
Just get rid of the est. wait time
I will say it's not entirely accurate
Need a block for certain merchants. Have a limit of 3.
Yes ...picked up already and hot screwed
Increase base pay also minimum wages are going up in January so why doesnt thay aldo apply to sll jobs?
If a customer thinks drivers are unavailable will they still place an order, loosing that delivery power when shut people down at 69 AR, keep tha app on and Triple STacks happen otherwise you know the alternative.
I think doordash should give priority to dashers that live in the city they dash in
DoorDash should have a button where you can block certain merchants from sending you offers.
I haven't gotten out of the zone bonuses in the Fenton Mi market & I start in the middle of the zone?????
I’ve only done 3180 deliveries. Feels like a lot more 😅
I think they are training suppprt agents sometimes
It would be helpful if messages from customers would pop up on the screen where it is obvious instead of coming through in the background. I usually don’t see messages from customers until I have to open my phone back up and see the notification on the Lock Screen.
True sometimes I don't see them but the chat menu icon is safer when driving than drop down notifications sometimes.
I love Dash mart!!!
I’d like to be able to switch zones without ending dash.
Add a Messages, (text from customer) button on the GPS screen.
Or read it out to us as we are driving- “Jane said, thank you see you soon, house on the left”
Yes maybe a small chat icon with a red exclamation mark or moving border to indicate you have a pending message.
I do get #3, it's already a feature
It lies on the shopping orders. 1 item is what it says alcohol delivery. Get to store and its pick up 30 items and a case of beer. It's b.s. and calling support to get compensation doesn't work
I think doordash should 1000% be paying out 2 base pays(some are up to 10 bucks and they are just pocketing it) when they add on a additional shop and pay even if your at the store. Straight up crooks for not paying it.
That would be nice but it would double their costs on every offer. With changes like this I think incremental cost changes would be more feasible
I wasted my whole day 🤬 just sitting waiting for an order because my scheduled time had ended and I did not know I had to click end when the time was up to start the next scheduled shift.
They should remove the 100 deliveries required to acquire top dasher/platinum dasher. Due to dd could not fulfill it
I'm hoping they'll finally add a _Dash without leaving my home_ feature 😂
Honestly I would love to see an at-home earnings option. You could add 'verify store hours' Tasks there where you just call the restaurant. I'm curious what else they could add for at-home options.
Where is my pay for taking pictures you promise extra for? I took shelf photos and never have seen the pay!!!!
Was it a stand alone shelf photo offer like this? ua-cam.com/users/live9YEhVpbfU_s?si=DMg9vy9Z6dJ_MTdj&t=409 if so you're paid what's shown on the offer card.
Pedro made 2000 in 5 days Feb 2023 i think, what if everyone was doing that, how much profit would Dododash make.
I had a ring of three wishes and I could have taken care of three of these wishes but I used my last wish to get three magic beans.
