I've always liked Overkill but never😅 really appreciated them until recently. Why? I realized they're the only band to remain consistent through their entire career.. They're a metal band they know it and they never tried to be anything else. Shit even their weakest album, IMO, is I hear black. And it's still good🤟

These guys are just another classic powerhouse thrash metal band from the 80's still laying down some serious music and in most cases better than ever. Exodus, Testament, Anthrax, Prong, Death Angel and Sepultura are others that have recently released new stuff and have been putting awesome stuff out for years now. Imo, thrash is better than ever today......\m/\m/
It did. He used to sing with a more clear voice in the early albums and gradually changed to a more Udo-like scream. He sounds a lot different here than he did in "In Union We Stand". I personally like both vocals.

This album is great all the way through... Bobby's vocals are still as good as they were 20-plus years ago, I saw them March 5th in Atlanta and was blown away and Bobby was nice enough to hand me the setlist. buy this album, support the band and support metal and I'm glad to see the old guys showing the younger generation how it's done.

This is the song that deserves a reaction video by Elizabeth from The Charismatic Voice. Overkill never disappoints. Ive seen them live many times. Every album gets more airplay than any metal band i care about, save only Black Sabbath, Dio and Judas Priest. While growing up my big 4 were always Overkill, Testament, Metal Church and Kreator.

Overkill is arguably the most underrated metal band of all time. It's a wonder why they aren't more commonly name checked as one of the greats of the genre. There isn't an album of theirs that I haven't loved, nor has there been an album that hasn't impressed me. If these guys would do me the immense favor of touring with Megadeth, that would just make my skin all tickly. Speaking of, the groove riff to this song faintly reminds me of Megadeth's "Play For Blood" off of United Abominations.
Overkill is still one the best American Thrash Band , very underrated but better than most famous bands..

They use to play in Cranford , in an old studio back in the 80’s where some friends rented the place
