Will give the GT rinseless a try once I’ve used up my supply of Optimum No Rinse. I also Feynlab rinseless weekly to give the wheels a quick wipe over (in conjunction with M&K Armour).

I honestly use rinseless in any scenario. If the car is too soiled, I pre rinse the whole car and then I start my contact wash with rinseless. I carry a 5 gallon bucket with a lid, Ryobi 600 sprayer, and brs sponge and a drying towel.

I'm a big fan of rinseless washing ever since I "discovered" it last year because of the hosepipe ban. Now I don't use any other method - because it works and it is quick and easy. You may want to try using a sponge, Martin, instead of multiple towels. I use multiple sponges! The Ultra Black Sponge for the top of the car and the windows and headlights; the Big Gold Sponge for the bonnet, boot and top half of the sides, and the Legacy Sponge for the lower half. For the sills and bottom of the car I use DIY Detail's green flag tipped brush. I do not get scratches or swirls as I use lots of lubrication. And, as a bonus, I do not have multiple towels or mitts to wash afterwards. All you do is just rinse the sponges in clean water.
@@ObsessiveCarDetailer The sponges are expensive, but it's worth it in saving on washing all those towels afterwards. All I have to wash is one drying towel - and that's it.
This kind of product is a great addition to your detailing arsenal 👍 when the cars dusty you can't beat this 👍 big fan of ONR + BRS but will give this a go when i run out 😃 great video again Martin keep up the good work 👍
Great Video Martin. I often use this method, when the cars not too grubby! Ideal for a quick going over, especially after rain to remove any dried water marks
Big fan of rinseless washes and it does now seem it's something every detailing brand will eventually have to have in its armoury. In my case I do a very low mileage so these products are ideal. As advocates of the technology say it doesn't mean you would use it on a mud caked car - the key thing is you don't rinse after, nothing to stop you hosing off loose stuff. Good review - love Garage Therapy so will purchase when I next need to restock.
Received my galon of Hero by Armour Detail Supply a few days ago, which I used yesterday. It makes the cleaning process effortless and speedy. The slickness, cleaning power, and the scent is class leading. Highly recommend it.
Absolutely well said in that it’s your car, your method and if don’t like it, move along. I use the same method, up to the point I use the black sponge instead of towels . A rinseless wash is so much easier. Keep up the good work with the vlogs.

Hi Paul. You know how I love my ST, I am happy to report that regular rinseless hasn't inflicted any damage to it, else I'd never do it. I use noodle mitts for rinseless, cos I'm too tight to buy them sponges 😂 but, they work well.
@@ObsessiveCarDetailer I spoke to them about a UK distributor but they don't have one at the moment so Amazon is the only way. They also have a flip towel for glass that I'm interested in, regular on one side and waffle on the other, would save me holding two different towels when doing my windows.
A lot of scare mongering with waterless/rinseless washes. I've done my car a few times this year with ONR & the paints in great condition since the machine polish last summer. Was genuinely shocked as I would have expected more marring/light scratches from a year of typical maintenance washes, never mind rinseless. I don't bother with all the cloths though. I use a single MF wash pad with a 2nd bucket of water to clean it out. Very thorough thrash in the rinse bucket then rub the fibres with the other hand, squeeze it out as much as possible before back into the ONR mix. I personally prefer this as I think the more dense, deeper pile of the MF pad/mitt is a bit safer than a soaked, flat towel & it applies less pressure by using the weight of the mitt itself. Car looks great after the rinseless 👍
@@BrianW1612 yep totally agree with the scare mongering Brian & mostly by those that have never used it. Accept your point on the mf wash mitt & have a few on order 👍👍👍
Nice video I didn’t realise GT did a rinseless product it is surfactant or polymer or both? I’ve used ONR and DIY in the past with a black legacy sponge but like your towels method cheers
Hi there, I just did my first rinseless wash last weekend. I bought 5L of Bouncers' variant before he sadly closed up and it worked very well. I'm wondering whether to buy one of these rinseless sponges with the grid like cuts on the sponge face. Have you any experience with them or thinking about getting one yourself? They are a bit ridiculous in terms of price for what is a sponge at the end of the day, but I'm not sure if there is something more too them. I've seen some Aliexpress knock-offs that I'd be tempted by instead but its whether the density and actual sponge material is different between the knock-offs and the actual ones that I am not able to find out. Maybe if you're thinking about either then give us a review :)
Big red sponge? not for me. It may or may not work but no way am I spending that sort of money on a bloody sponge, typical detailing industry rip off. Have you tried a microfibre mitt or a chenille mitt? much cheaper and worth trying before you added the sponge to your Christmas list
@@ObsessiveCarDetailer I believe that's one of them yes, the newer other being this 'Ultra Black Sponge' but its like £25 here 😵💫. The AliExpress knock-offs of the red one are a couple of quid I think but dunno if its cheap sponge. I do have a chenille pad that I've not used yet so if that'll work just as well then I can give that a go! I just wondered if there was something behind these sponges or if its all just hype. P.s. just seen you've finally released a 'best of' video so have that saved to watch soon!
Great vid again Martin, you’ve convinced me to give it a go so I need to buy some more cloths😢 I’ve got a x3 as well how many cloths did you for the wash bud ??

Why not show us the towels with no dirt on them whatsoever before you bin them in the green bucket 😅 Been using ONR since 2006. This is the most pointless OCD Wash with a rinseless wash I have ever seen. My guess is you don't trust the chemistry that's in a Rinseless Wash product. I currently use Absolute and I find it excellent. More modern Chemistry than the ONR. BRS from Ali Express is pennies by the way. Identical foam density. I use multiple wash pads and mitts and a grit guard. I also wring out the media and the dirt onto the ground before putting it back into the bucket. Definitely won't be buying GT Rinseless any time soon. Well explained on the technique though. 👍👌🍻

@@paulquickmire4140 Its all very well watching what others do Paul but stick with what feels the right thing for you mate
Hi Paul. You know how I love my ST, I am happy to report that regular rinseless hasn't inflicted any damage to it, else I'd never do it. I use noodle mitts for rinseless, cos I'm too tight to buy them sponges 😂 but, they work well.
@@decker0373 looks like I'm going to have to put my hand in my pocket again 🤣🤣
Hi Martin, I know you don't like our input but that wasnt a peice of cake, that was infact a BMW X3
Ahh but both hit the sweet spot
You should try the Autofiber Double Flip towels, they are great for waterless and rinseless washes.
Just had a quick look at them on Amazon, they look like a good buy. Might treat myself. Thank you👍
Just ordered them👍
@@ObsessiveCarDetailer I spoke to them about a UK distributor but they don't have one at the moment so Amazon is the only way. They also have a flip towel for glass that I'm interested in, regular on one side and waffle on the other, would save me holding two different towels when doing my windows.
🎉👍👍😊good work martin
cheers mate, hope you are well
@ObsessiveCarDetailer I'm good thanks 😊
Big fan of G.T products but for me it's diy details rinseless all day
Quality brand Mark that always hit the spot
GT have only just released it on to the market
Hi there,
I just did my first rinseless wash last weekend.
@@AM4N18weather permitting I hope to do a video with a couple of wash mitts on a rinseless

Great vid again Martin, you’ve convinced me to give it a go so I need to buy some more cloths😢 I’ve got a x3 as well how many cloths did you for the wash bud ??
I used about 5 I think but after a recommendation on a comment this evening I have just ordered these from Amazon www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07QP8Z12F?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
Mcrofbr towels are fantastic value for money mate 👍
@@kinnonmcallister they last a long time if you look after them. At the last count I had over 150 🤷♂️
... before you know it , I'll be using a cheap sponge - what a plonker am I.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I use "rinseless" most days as a quick clean - I guess I'm stupid
Not at all Robert sounds like something I should be doing
No way are you stupid, if you have the time, go for it, inbet your car is the envy of the street. Good on you!
If it works and saves alot of time without damage to the vehicle then it works for me ,👍
@@simonmarsh5007 you should give it a try Simon, there are a few good products on the market 👍
@@ObsessiveCarDetailer been think about trying it would certainly save me time on monthly maintenance cars
@@simonmarsh5007 it would allow you to clean the car in full sun on hot days as well as cleaning between maintenance washes
Why not show us the towels with no dirt on them whatsoever before you bin them in the green bucket 😅
Been using ONR since 2006.
sounds like you just wasted you time watching it, never mind lots of other channels out there
Seems like you didn't read my comment properly.
Don't be so childish.

Hi John, this hot weather is the perfect time to use a rinse less wash, less effort, quicker & no rushing around trying to avoid water spots. Its also perfect for people who live in apartments with no access to a hose
