Great unboxing video Daz 👍🏻 I love Claire’s attention to detail and they way she drew the stems on the wrapper so you didn’t damage them when cutting open. I found Claire’s channel via Lyn of DPOA and I’ve learnt lots from her. Because of her I now use cinnamon powder on roots when repotting and also cinnamon oil alongside neem oil for pest control 🐜 Thank you Claire if you are reading this 😀

What an awesome gift! Claire has an amazing channel, I love that she is always very informative. I loved the seeds and ephiphylums, and the Mammillaria, specially that Mistax and the one with unknown ID (I have a similar one, no idea of what it is). And yes, the Melocactus azureus doesn't like cold: I had to put mine inside the house last winter because it turned purple below 5 °C 🙈. Hi Daz. Lovely Unboxing and video You're lucky to recieve such beautiful plants in your mail. I'm having a little problem with my one gymno. I live in S India and the climate here is humid throughout the year. My gymnos(2) have turned purple, what am I doing wrong? Waiting for your reply🙏🙏
Thank you so much, Rexy 😊 With your Gymnos turning purple that’s usually a stress colour and can be caused by a number of things; cold, heat/sunlight, dehydration but some cacti can naturally have a purple colouration to them. Some of mine, and a few Gymnos, usually turn purple during the winter rest period where they don’t get any water for about 6 months and are exposed to cooler temperatures. hey daz, also those two mammillaria's are mammillaria bocasana and fish hook cactus
