    My youngest is 7yrs old now and I realized recently I still had not bounced back to my self. Everything changed and of course depression/anxiety was at all time highs. Had it not been for the Lord I would have given up a long time ago. Keep pressing towards the mark little sis. Being transparent in a world that is afraid to face reality is a great challenge. Paul says we boast in our weaknesses so that the power of God is seen … something like that. But it’s true, we can boast in his great power when we prove to be weak. I don’t see it as labeling yourself an anxious person, i see it for what it is… we are weak, but His grace is sufficient and His power is made perfect in weakness. The fact that we have the strength to keep going is more reason to boast in those weaknesses so that the power of God is made known. Be encouraged, mama. Xoxo

      Amen! And wow 7 years, can’t believe he’s 7 already. It can take a toll, but yes when we are weak, He is strong 🙏🏼. Thanks for watching! 💗

    I'm so glad you have the resources you need to get through these very hard times! You're so thoughtful to make time to share it with others🥰. I have 4 littles and it's a little bit of eeerrythang lol. As our children grow and change, we too are forced to change and learn from the different seasons our children's lives bring. Those changes are good for us, but they can also be very difficult. The days are long but the years are short💝. We, mommas, are a big deal to our families❤. Your baby girl is precious! Take care, Kelly!🥰

    my son turn 26 on 5/9 so its been awhile but I had postpartum depression my mom called the "the baby blues" am 58 now I was 32 when I had my son. Prayer is what helped me the most. I visited with the Priest & he said, Depression & Fear come from not a good place {if you know what I mean} when we are so happy because of our first born the evil in the world wants to bring us down so I refuse to let anything or anyone take my JOY. I prayed, Journaled, enjoyed my baby, cooked, Planted flowers, organized & cleaned which gives me JOY. I hope this helps. Prayers for You dear.

    You are such a precious young woman. You are wise and strong to deal with your mental health. The older generations thought strength was just white knuckling through difficulties. Maybe it was partially bc they didn’t have the resources? But even when there is all the information readily available now about mental health, some people would rather keep their heads stuck in the sand. Sadly, people of Faith can be the worst ☹️. We can just want a quick fix rather than having compassion and sitting with a person during their affliction.
    Thank you for your vulnerability 💖

    My husband has severe cervical dystonia which started in 2020. We believe stress triggered it. It is rare but I wanted you to know that I understand the impact of that condition. He didn't get real help until he saw a neurologist specializing in movement disorders. If your symptoms worsen that will be the specialist you need. Regular doctors, even neurologists who don't specialize in movement disorders, will not be able to treat it properly. My best wishes to you 💛

      Wow really? Thank you for that information! What has helped him the most? Has he tried Botox in the area?

    • @melaniegiles5942
      @melaniegiles5942 2 роки тому +1

      @@JoyBeforeHer Yes he has to have Botox religiously every 3 months. He gets the maximum dose and he still cannot fully straighten his neck (he is tilted to the right). He also takes a prescription drug (Artane). He had a very sudden severe onset that left him in agonizing pain, in bed in the fetal position barely able to perform basic self care for months while he waited to see the specialist. The Botox makes his pain level tolerable and has given him back so much function and quality of life. He also must manage his stress and anger. It immediately flairs up if he gets riled up. He has learned to walk away from triggering situations and calm himself down.

    I’ll be honest you were one of the first to start talking about mental health. I remember feeling so heard and relieved I wasn’t “crazy”. Thank you for being so open and honest. Mental health isn’t buying the new hair mask or that new dyson hair steamer. You started when it wasn’t the trend and you helped when my hair was matted to my head and I couldn’t leave the bed. Thank you so much kelly 🤎

    Aw Kelz... I am super proud of you for opening up and being transparent, I wish I had this "support system" almost 11 years ago with my son. You are doing an amazing job and you're handling everything well, keep it up. Aw, she is your mini me. Love your biggest fan! :)

    So helpful so needed to hear and know I’m not alone the only one struggling with anxiety. I had my baby girl this past Nov and exactly 2 weeks later lost my little sister that I raised in a car accident. I’m still healing but it’s been hard I have ups and downs I was lost and confused I couldn’t find happiness in my new born and felt horrible. God is good and I’m getting through. I’ve been trying all these tips and yes they are helping.
