About the throne I also think it means judgement as Meiko is seen on it, Mizuki being far away from it may mean that they are reluctant from making the judgment of whether to tell Ena their secret or not.
can we also talk on how kanades is completely different from ena and mizukis? her card has no hermit related thing in it name, and i think the card means how kanade is to and sees ena and mizuki. in the event story, ena said something similar too: when kanade and mafuyu are in need of help, you want to help. “ which shows that kanade has only seen the energetic and helpful side of mizuki. not the side of mizuki that’s stressed, stuck, and not sure how to go on, shown in the untrained card. and i think the reason her card is called “ what the hanged girl saw “ is because its telling us this card is foreshadowing something. what is it foreshadowing? im not sure. but the shocked expression on her face might hint at it. like how ena reacted to seeing mizukis face at secret distance. also, the flowers in the bottom right corner of her card, magnolia, means purity and perfection. im not sure what that entails but I think it means kanade wants her songs to be perfect like the magnolia means. im not sure about what else to talk about with the flowers so im gonna continue about the actual card and the name. the card is calling kanade “ the hanged girl. “ as in theirs a rope on kanades foot. connecting off screen. which could mean theirs a rope connecting on the other cards. but im too lazy to check. the background contains something that looks like the sky and clouds and what looks like a building. the rope that goes offscreen can mean that the rope is connected to something. maybe a sort of pole of sorts? anyways imma let the ppl in the replys continue this because im sick and if i type for longer, my hands will probably start to hurt.
I think Kanade's card called 'What The Hanged Girl Saw' might be a foreshadowing of how will Mizuki's problem finally find its solution. The 'Hanged Girl' might be a reference to the 'Hanged Man' of the tarot card, while writing this, I searched for its meaning:
Upright: Wisdom, circumspection, discernment, trials, sacrifice, intuition, divination, prophecy.
Reversed: Selfishness, the crowd, body politic.
Now, let's say that Kanade's card is upright, which represents wisdom, circumspection, discernment, trials, sacrifice, intuition, divination, and prophecy. On the upright hanged man card, the man who's seen hanging in the card has his body upsight down, and if we were at the man's point of view, the way we see anything is in reverse. And if it's Kanade who represents the hanged man, Kanade might see the upright hermit card (The Mizuki who's hiding behind their facade) in reverse (The Reverse Hermit). This might be a foreshadowing when Kanade (and maybe even Mafuyu) see the troubled Mizuki the same way Ena did at Secret Distance.
"the solemn expression on his face traditionally suggests that he is there by his own accord, and the card is meant to represent self-sacrifice more so than it does corporal punishment or criminality." This was also noted on Wikipedia. And personally, I think this card is completely fit for Kanade. Let's analyze them one by one:
"the solemn expression on his face traditionally suggests that he is there by his own accord" represents Kanade's choice to keep living to make music that can save someone after his father was hospitalized (And after she heard her mother's music box right after she's planning on disappearing from this world by not eating [Niigo Main Story chapter 11]). 'The solemn expression' might also represent how Kanade's subtle facial expression.
"the card is meant to represent self-sacrifice more so than it does corporal punishment or criminality". This also deeply connected to Kanade, she saw her talent as a 'curse' (Mafuyu pointed this out in the main story chapter 17), to which she said she will keep composing songs to save someone as her punishment for hospitalizing her father. Kanade's urgency to make songs to save someone can be seen at Insiatable Pale Color, when she made song in minutes to save Ena. While her guilt still haunt her at Recolection Carnation, with Mizuki's help, Kanade managed to make song that can bring smile to someone (Mafuyu) instead a song that can save her.
This is my personal analysis on Kanade's card in the hermit set. Personally, I don't really understand Tarot Card, but I decided to analyze it since this is my favorite card set on Project Sekai.

Great video! One thing I've seen other people theorise about with these cards which I think that's worth mentioning, is that Ena's and Mizuki's long hair might be a symbol for big amounts of time passing. Which is a nod to how Ena said that she'll be waiting for as long as it takes for Mizuki to reveal their secret :_)

a clever and in depth analysis! The XX XY horns works even more when you see the necklace Mizuki wears on their bug outfit which is different from the rest of niigo, The tarot card themes in the event is such a good touch especially with the reverse themes for Mizuki, another amazing video!
I’d like to note that Lower as a whole is based on the betrayal of Judas (like the bible where he betrays Jesus) and it really fits the themes Mizuki and Ena have surrounding their relationship.
