I have commented previously, it is so good to see skilled installers doing the job properly, you may not be cheap but then the best never is, if I could afford it I would get my car protected, well done.
The most astonishing Topaz work I have ever seen was the satin grey stealth film he put on a Taycan. Perfection. It was transformed into a work of art and that's not hyperbole. If it were mine I would be buried in it when I die. 😇
Wow okay, the first 2 minutes changed completely my perspective on the industry, I've been looking at the issue for 2 hours now and I realize it's widespread, the round corners are everywhere. I will definitely bring my car to Topaz now, I have something you will be very interested in
As a competing business I know it’s not always right to name and shame companies but atleast the customer should have done to warn others! P.s love the vids 👍🏾
Your videos are very satisfying to watch. I love to watch every second of it. Great job on protecting the GT3 RS. And thank you for the useful informations too 👍🏻
I feel like this is the second video with a slight dig at Yianni but I agree your team's work is absolutely the best with the printed patterns. Heck it even feels like each of your detailers can actually successfully own their own shop with their skill🙏
The difference between amateurs & professionals, clearly demonstrated. I am intrigued as to what holds the film on the body. If it is an adhesive, it must have a long curing time to allow the panels to be "floated' into position and the film must have good stretch to allow it to follow, the sometimes complex curves. Am I correct in saying Topaz do not cut the film on the body?
Wow! This is so amazing! Big difference when the film is done by Topaz! Btw, I can put film on my iPhone screen but definitely not on a big size car lol
Great video! Detailers/PPF installer should add something like "gap tolerance" in the service description. Also, the next banger product might be a protection film that would protect the windshield from stone chips.
Looks amazing - I still think the 3 stage detail with strong ceramic coat topaz do is more than enough - that way the paint clarity is perfect and you don’t get the slight orange peel effect as with PPF
Really great video and informative, would be great if you could include what ceramic coats you recommend for your PPF and long term maintenence videos. Really stunning work thank you
Unfortunately you get what you paid for. Trying to save $$$ can result in poor quality craftsmanship. However, you guys at Topaz detailing don't cut corners and your work is truly stunning. No doubt you guys at Topaz detailing PPF work is perhaps pricy but worth it! The results and detail speak for themselves. 👍
Porsche has been saving money lately and it starts to show. As a german citizen I´m actually embarrassed that a premium brand delivers such low quality which is clearly visable to the customer. Great video
Don’t understand when someone invests so much money in a super car and then doesn’t protect it the best you can, looks fantastic after being corrected. You do get what you pay for and this proves it.
As someone who installs PPF/Tint for a living I just want to make it clear that there is a big difference between retail work such as your shop vs dealership work. 90% of dealerships (even some of the more high end dealers like Porsche or Mercedes) want the work done as fast as possible and as cheap as possible so they can turn around and charge the customer anywhere from 2-4x what we charge the dealership. Not saying it's ok to do bad work but its more of a matter of you get what you pay for. We aren't getting paid enough & don't have the time to take everything apart, wrap every edge, etc. For example, one of the dealerships I work at charges $1,200 for a basic 18" clear bra & a 2 window Tint. We charge them $270 which after material and other costs only pays about $120 to the installer. All that being said, this is a bad install. A bit of advice: If you buy a new car, never ever get Tint/mask done through the dealership as most of the time their markup is absurd
Just because I’m curious... if you was putting a blue wrap on the car instead of PPF, would you apply it in the same way? Do you have to soak the film and the car ? I have 3m black film just sitting in my room, I’d like to wrap my side mirrors on my grey CLA180 but I just don’t know how to apply the film.. but I know everything else 🙄🤷🏻♂️
I see xpel do the same like this even though it is supposed to be precision cut , I know you have to account for cost and time etc when I see the edges it looks cheap and it collects the dirt , is their not a PPF you can apply just like a wrap I know PPF is thicker ? Obviously I see Topaz as THE best place to take your car and the detailed jobs you do are very nice
Wow now that’s a quality installation! Do you have any partners that you can recommend in the United States or do you have any plans on opening a topaz US?
I understand your point but life is really too short to worry about these things. My car was immaculately detailed and then at Silverstone track day, at Brooklands, another GT3 RS smashed into me because the driver lost it and binned it. Wrote both cars off. For me, a Tennis Racket is for playing tennis and not for polishing.
@@saadh3364 Yes I agree that everyone isn't fortunate. But that beyond the point. Porsche as a company wants its owners to drive them and possibly get involved in club racing. In around about way you are saying a manufacturer like Porsche cant paint or offer paint protection. This is a cosmetics and after a point its nonsense.
You’re best off contacting them, great and friendly to deal with. A few years ago I contacted them for a large car - quoted £3950 +vat for ALL the car & £1500 +vat for the front bumper, bonnet, wings, headlights & wing mirrors. You’ll also need the car detailing and paint correcting before the ppf application which also ups the price. At the end of the day they’re the best company out there and when you own an incredibly expensive or historically important car, this is an added insurance that warrants the cost.
Nice video as always, but please, invest in a proper microphone with your camera when you are presenting the car and which work will be done on it (a Rode for instance) , the voice quality doesn't reflect the tremendous quality of the job provided by your company. :)
My new 911 has PPF using patterns similar to the before car here. Not happy with what I was given. Plus it had bubbles under film on bumper. PPF is expensive and then you get screwed. Dealer says he will fix. Should have used the installer I wanted, not the dealer's.
beautiful video as ever. but one thing that could made it better is an 8k red camera. We need to capture the details better especially for the close up shots
Doesn't the film lift a lot quicker when you go that close to an edge? I've seen cars with lifted ppf around edges with dirt underneath and that looks worse than a 2mm gap from the edge.. It would have been awesome if you wrapped this GT3 RS in Stealth! But hey, the client decides right 😁
Ferrari PPF is very poor to, anyone out there contemplating having there new Ferrari done by the factory, don't. The factory paint is orange peely, and the Film install is substandard. Go see Nabil and get Topaz to get your car sorted in both areas. Topaz Detailing are the best, it's a fact.🤙
That's the real spirit of detailing customers should understand : don't buy a price, buy a service. This video is a very good example of it !
Thanks for watching
When Nabil goes on about the details, you know what they are at the top of their game. Those details are what makes them the best.
Thank you for your kind words
Stunning finish , I’m sure the owner will be thrilled with it now ,
We aim to please!

That original film by others is absolutely shocking. I would be refusing to pay for that.
The work that you guys do is perfection. Stunning.
Huge props to the camera guy and editor, amazing shots and editing
Thanks for your kind words

well spotted
Hope it was rectified.

This needs to be the standard of car detailing and protection. Need you guys in Japan!🙏
maybe one day!
Y Yasuda Doesn’t Japan have any good PPF and detailers?
@@jfletcher1029 I really wondering even there is a lot of great cars and brands in Japan!
It's so good that I'm sitting here thinking... the after could be filmed with no ppf at all lmao! Well done! Thanks for sharing!
thanks for watching!
The peaceful music makes it more enjoyable to watch and take in all the details! Thumbs up from me
Glad you enjoyed it
It's incredible how the cars nearly look like renderings after you're done with them. Great work!
Outrageous how people have the audacity to actually sell their product like that. Shame on the previous installer!
That was the Porsche PPF option
@Eloy Skursky it's a phishing website.. don't be stupid. Who advertises a hacking website? That comment was probably a bot writing that
Amazing! Even the ppf clarity is better...👌
We've spent years with Eastman films to develop the best optical clarity in the films they send us

How beautiful to see such care and craftsman ship.
This is simply amazing work. Kudos for the team and thanks for posting on UA-cam, I really enjoy watching this.
Thank you very much!
There’s something so comforting about watching Nabil talking about PPF

Great job, can't believe the customer accepted the original ppf.

How much did the customer pay the first installer vs your own company.
Great car and great work. If I ever need this type of work done I'll deffo be booking in with you guys 👍

Really stunning work thank you
The best of best is topaz
Perfect Car :) Black Uni is much better without PPF because of the PPF structure, but now it has the best protection!

What film do you use? I want to find someone stateside that uses the same film
Do you do detailing and PPF just to super and hypercars? Or can you also do it to ordinary sports cars? (eg Honda Civic Type R 2020)
What the customer wants
We can do any car 💪
Very beautiful job done by topaz

The cheap alternative probably ends up costing more in the end, having to pay for a paint correction as well as a proper PPV job
Do you guys use PPF on the windshield ?

Hi good info again.
You mentioned paint cuts, how do you rectify cuts in the paint.
Thanks
We sand and polish them where possible. Deep cuts can require respray
I live on the U.S. easy coast, and I haven’t seen any detailing shops to the level of topaz. Are there any shops in the US that you can recommend?
Ceramic coating after the ppf ?
yes we did do that
Did you not correct the paint pre-film applicatioln ?..I have a new TTS 991.2 black that needed extensive paint correction before filming

If you put ceramic coating on top of the PPF - doesn't that then defeat the ability of the PPF to self heal?
