Awe mate that was class, loved the speed up and music to your wheel removal 😂 you've really mastered art of 'giving it a good coat of looking at' pal 👍🏻 Kudos for getting stuck in and having a go mate 💪🏻 hope the race went well my friend, thanks for sharing, appreciated and enjoyed as always 🙂🏍️👍🏻
Awesome! Looking forward to your post race video. Good luck mate!! 🤞✊ As far as I know, scraping the right side belly on RSV4 is common. I wouldn't change the rear spring for that reason alone.
Thank you very much I agree with it is common but mine does it too much Like way too much , we didn’t change the spring in the end We mounted the bracket of the bottom fairing slightly higher and hopefully that wouldn’t cause an issue during the race
@@ChasingTenths Great idea! I would do the same if my low mount exhaust didn't get in the way. That bracket you speak of broke on me last track day. And my lithium battery can make it through a Canadian winter without trickle charge. Happy to see you not take the risk on yours.
I use the same charger on a lithium battery . On the lithium charge mode . It didn’t stay trickle charging it will get up to full turn off and monitor . I’ve used them for 8 years . Never had a battery problem leaving the charger connected .
Hey Mark , I think during the winter there was a period when I didn’t charge the bike for 2 weeks and the tracker drained the battery to zero and it just never went back to life properly… with lithium , if you let them totally deplete then it’s hard to get them back on .. just ordered a new one :)
@ChasingTenths LiPO batteries require a specific maintenance charger that understands the battery chemistry. Further they are temperature sensitive so that instant start in cold weather is not possible. You have to leave it on for 10 min to drain gently and heat the cells. Once they are up to temperature you can start and enjoy the large cold cranking amps (cold engine). Some people store them indoors.. I recommend Oxford Products who can assure the maintenance charger compatibility. No agent relationship.
Never run a Carbon wheel with loose material inside as the impact at speed is not supported and can puncture the wheel. So you did the right thing to swap out and repair..
@@ChasingTenths to be honest I must admit the amount of times I've started working on a bike and forgotten to lift it haha. Great video as always! Interesting information on the carbon wheel situation 👍
abhi did you got the rear shock higher ? like 10 mm ? scraping the fairing the setup is way to low ... did you also changed the enginebraking that i mentioned on youre prevous trackday ? hoop you get some good session 's buddy :D gass it
Thank you mate Honestly , I didn’t change the engine braking for that race because I really wanted to get used to it on a trackday first and I went into the race having not ridden the bike for 5 months so I didn’t want a different feeling straight into qualifying as I didn’t do a practice day before the race The spring didn’t need changing in the end We just mounted the bottom fairing slightly higher Thank you for remembering and caring
So sorry mate , I didn’t understand the first part of your question, o e ? The body work is extreme components from Italy bought through road race performance but they don’t do tank cover , the tank cover is from BikePlast, Eastern European company on eBay
Hey Keith , 16 front 43 rear is your best bet for most U.K. tracks It’s just perfect Euro tracks with longer straights 16:42 Or Snetterton or Silverstone 16:42
@@matthewwren1736 😂😂😂 I tell you what , that was the biggest learning curve I loved it I bought two torque wrenches since then , a piston removal tool , pliers set and a mini tool set to go with my Halfords advanced tool set

I was laughing myself
I kept looking at the bike for ages lol
Cheers Gareth
You made me laugh
“Giving it a good coat of looking at it “ 😂😂😂😂
Nice to see you getting your hands dirty Abhi! Well almost 😁
Haha true that
I did do the service on the bike
Getting into it properly but hands were literally too mucky to press the start button
Best of luck for the 5 hour mate
Thank you very much mate 🤗
Best of luck for the race !!!!
Thank you Alberto
Much appreciated
Another cracking informational video pal

Love how they made you work on the bike with the workbench not raised 😂 get a new battery on that, not worth the faff it failing on you.
He had every opportunity to lift it up, its electric, only takes the press of a button 😅
@@matthewwren1736 😂😂😂🙈🙈
True lol
Mate, Gareth told me three times to raise it
I was too embarrass to ask how do you raise it lol
We did raise it afterwards and it was much easy
