Great question Tyler Copeland, for the Ascent it looks more to 2022, or maybe early 2023. Subaru hasn’t confirmed but talking with them that is what they told me. 2020 models of Outback and Legacy have them but it is still unavailable for the Ascent. Thank you for your question.

I know what you mean Tyler, when I talked with Subaru, they said the Acsent is still new that is why they are pushing it off another year or so. I have seen adapters you can put but it should have it.

Ordered mine Friday will be my fourth Subaru 18 cross trek 19 Forster limited 20 forester touring lived every one my favorite would have to be the light blue cross trek we had but we needed more room so we traded wish I would have keep it but we reserved a 22 touring ascent should be here January

I would be tempted to take out the third row and sweep back the middle row as much as possible, give the passengers even more comfort and more space in the back fro load, don’t need more than 4 people in my vehicle anyways.
That’s a good point Neomis 01, you would gain some cargo and you don’t have to worry about giving up any space for the second row. Thank you for your comment.
I wish that Subaru made the third row optional as I would never use it, but could certainly use the cargo space. I have previously driven Honda and Kia vans and probably only used that third row one or two times over the 16+ years of ownership.
I have a throw row as well and only use it if I’m going on long trips 👍🏻.

Only thing that doesn't make sense to me is that there is no 8 way power passenger seat. You can get that in the Outback, Legacy, and Forester but this no.
I was surprise with the seat adjustments, for the price point, I like this model but when you start paying 50k-ish for a vehicle you should get 12 way power adjustments. The ventilated seats is a must, thank you for your comment musicmaniac.
You would think this car would be loaded to death... but it’s probably gonna take a while.. tell you one thing.... don’t get the forester unless you want no power...
You are right on engine power, that is a problem on some of the Subaru models I have tested.
You can buy it as a 7 or 8 seater. 8 would be a bench seat in the 2nd row.

Love my Subaru, but I sure as hell never heard anyone describe one as "aggressive" looking.
Everyone has there way of explaining vehicles, I like to point out parts to show importance and give details others do not.

@@HawkeyeRides hey great review! I'm 6"6. Any chance it would be comfortable for me?? mostly concerned with legroom and thigh support. The Hyundai pallisade just doesn't cut it for me
@@joshf2719 great question, I found these seats comfortable, with good supports, headroom for first and second row are close to the same specs, legroom is a few inches less in the Ascent, I am around 175-180lbs, I had lots of space for the shoulders.
