Hi Damo. Keep an eye on that heim joint on your panhard bar.. looks like it wont last very long from where I'm sitting? Could those front shock cylinders go in the engine bay? Maybe inside the plastic arches or up under the wing tops?
Always going to be a few problems along the way when you run a big set up like that! I love being able to adjust remote res on my shocks but the res canisters themselves are so annoying to get out of the way
As an experiment on my mates beat up 110 that had a habit of dislocating I found that retaining the springs with stainless jubilee clips worked really well! Lol Sounds daft but the articulation worked better, spring expas as the opposite compressed taking the strain off the damper that's got the weight of the axle and big tyre hanging off it straining the end of the shaft + slamming the damping plunger in the bore, ie top out as opposed to bottom out?:)
The angle that the rears are installed at in defenders actually means you get more travel than the length of the shocks. Thats not to say a 12" will travel 14", more that the range of motion for the rear axle with 12" shocks is closer to 14" due to shock angle. Where as fronts are straight up and down so no extra gains from the install angle
Holy dooley what a setup! Orkney's a proper flex monster now!
The front shocks are almost poking through the bonnet, awesome. I just got my first suspension kit this weekend, not quite as extreme :)
why not get some longer springs?

I have a set of konis with close to 300,000 on them and after a oil change are still serviceable. They are quality gear.
The good old test drives where you purposely hit potholes to check your mods and your missus thinks your an idiot
no hate!!
if you took off the wheels you would have more space to work
love the vid
What is the ball joint on rear diff?.Standard or after market to allow for axle movement flex.
Do videos of doing up the shed and another walk around of the 90?
Any particular reason why the fronts shocks are longer than the rear?
