I’m a bus driver myself for Sargeants Bros in Kington/Hereford, all the passengers love me cause I’m always happy, chatty and bubbly, never let the stress get in the way of the connection with the passengers, also we’ve been told we are now number 1 bus company in Herefordshire
Hello mate! I think I saw you today! You were on a 74 heading west through the city, I did wave at you but didn’t want to wave too much coz I didn’t want you to stop as I was waiting for a different bus! I only come to London once a year from Dorset for my companies Xmas party so quite amazed I saw you out of the 1000s of buses! 😂
Len, not at all a surprise you influenced some young guys to become bus drivers. You're so warm and welcoming without the b.s. Record number of 54s I ever saw together back in the day was 5 westbound when it went as far as Croydon. The Beckenham short turn in those days in that direction was the War Memorial. the Junction being used for scheduled peak shorts from West Croydon. This was all well before Tramlink, of course. Buses on the 54 and 227 weren't allowed stand time at the W.M., round the roundabout and back again, all in crew days of course. My 227 record spot was 6 running together when I worked at Beckenham Library.
Hey Tim, I’m a 19 year old driver for Stagecoach in Scotland and he definetly has been an inspiration to me. I’m loving the job and enjoying learning the trade
Hi. Can I ask as a fan of yours, do TFL no longer take cash? I'm confused because it looks like passengers just tap a card when they board the bus, but how does the machine know what to debit from the card if no destination is stated by the passenger? Do they have to tap out when they exit the bus?
Good afternoon Loving and enjoying your videos I’m a bus driver with a staff oyster please could you explain about topping up as I’ve never heard about this what does this mean as I’ve always been told free travel
Hello friend I follow you and watch your videos from Mexico. In this case when you cover the shift of someone the company pay you extra hours or you take other days in free day?

Big fan of the video. Healthy eating is the way to go for us bus comrades. All the best.
Thanks

I have a TFL 60 plus pass so it’s separate to my staff pass. I can travel on network rail within London
😊

I did the person shift because if we earlier so that give company more time to cover my shift that was 30 minutes later. So no I’m paid the same money
