Welcome to the wonderful world of Courtney Hadwin. This was from AGT 2018. She is today 17 years old. We fans who have been following her for a few years are just waiting for her album to be released. But until then, there is a lot to listen to both covers and original songs. You will not be disappointed if you hop on the train. It has already left the station. The train goes around the world because she has fans all over the globe.

This AGT season was in 2018, about 3 1/2 years ago, when she was 13 and 14 during the show. She's now 17-years old. Agree with you about the shyness. There are some HUGE performers, like Michael Jackson and Prince, who are very quiet and introverted off stage but, once they are on stage and the music begins, they are some of the best performers we've ever seen!
Unfortunately, the travel restrictions due to covid, and her inability to travel from the UK to the USA to work with the American writer / producer (Kevin Bowe) she's collabing with, has set her back about 1 to 1 1/2 years. Now that travel restrictions have been lifted, today coincindnetally, by the USA, we're hoping she can finally head here and finish her first album of originals.
With respect to music suggestions, I'm sure other Courtz fans will offer suggestions of her performance during AGT, some of which are REALLY good. However, I'd like to move forward to 2019, when she was still 14 and recorded these two GREAT live performances:

Welcome to the wonderful world of Courtney Hadwin! This was a great reaction Texan! I have watched this video literally hundreds of times and it never gets old. This was the first time I saw Courtney and I have been following her ever since. I won’t go into her history since others have been so thorough. Hi. Really great reaction and so glad to have you on the Courtney Express. Courtney is amazing in so many ways. Unmatched vocals, pure stage dominance, off the charts creativity, dynamite guitarist and powerhouse song writer. What you may not know is the level of vocal versatility that Courtney has. Since you've only seen her AGT audition (which went viral and now has over 500M views, Courtney has in total has over 2 Billion views), you have yet to see her perform anything outside of the Rock genre. Fact is that Courtney can sing just about anything and do it better than anyone else whether it be R&B, Funk, Soul or Ballads. You're jaw will drop when you hear what an absolutely beautiful ballad voice Courtney has. The best part is that she can transition seamlessly between genres, sometimes in the same song, without any loss to the exquisite quality of her music. Her creativity is off the charts and any cover she sings will be entirely different than the original. Courtney will only do a cover if she has her own take on how a song could or should be sung. She never mimics anyone. I always suggest that, when listening to a Courtney cover, always listen to the original first, if you haven't heard it, because it will only make what Courtney has done to it that much more amazing. Inevitably, what she produces consistently blows the original out of the water. As you hear more of Courtney and what she can do musically, you'll see why those of us who follow her consider her to be the best thing that's happened to music in decades. Courtney sang exclusively classic rock from the 60's and 70's while on AGT, so many viewed her strictly as a fabulous stage dominating rocker. As a result, Courtney released a four cover set intended to specifically highlight her vocal versatility as well as to show how her style of passion and emotion and intensity, not seen in music for ages, translates to current music. Thank you for this, I LOVE reactions to Courtney's audition, they're my favorite thing on UA-cam. My favorite Courtney performance is the finals when she sang River Deep Mountain High, definitely worth a watch. Simon Cowell told her that when she didn't win his "mouth literally dropped."
I had a feeling you'd appreciate Courtney. She's a monster performer/singer. Her stage presence is well beyond her years. She's 17 today. This was 2018 season 13 for AGT. When this video came out it was an instant sensation. Went mega viral immediately. Got like 30 million views on AGT in only the 1st week. To date, it's been said to have over 500 million views of this performance on the internet. She was projected to be the clear cut winner the whole season until the hate on her started and I guess on AGT too for them promoting her by putting her on last on a few shows. People felt AGT was pushing for singers and younger kids to win. Then other viewers were against this RnB and rock genre and made fun of her moves and also said she was a screamer, not a singer, and that she faked her shyness. Neither of which were true. Still, up until the last day she was thought to have been the clear cut winner, even by the other contestants. But she ended up in 6th place. All her performances are fantastic and fall under the rock genre. Yet AGT wanted her to go to Las Vegas to do their after shows there. She was the star there too.
She sings in many different styles. She can't be put in a box really. She sings ballads as great as rock and RnB. She's just a passionate, entertaining singer who has a style and voice all her own and always leaves it all on the stage every single moment. She was signed following this seasons end. She did release 4 covers from some of the biggest hits on the radio, and completely changed them, or at least 2 of them to rockers. I could go on and keep posting links to videos and they'd all be worth watching. Just like Liliac, everything Courtney touches is so good. As you follow her further along in her age, you'll notice as we all have just how talented she really is. Her voice is so unique. When she sings ballads you'll know right away she's singing. She's so passionate when she performs ballads too. And adds a little something special to those songs to spice things up.
awww, They know nothing Bert, they are that way just because they're jealous. I predicted she will be (as Simon said) a trend setter. Due to Covid-19, the only thing she could do was work at the recording studio and be with her fans on tiktok and Instagram. When she finally IS able to perform live again, it will be a very huge event with her first appearance next August, and tickets which goes on sale THIS MONTH, tickets will sell out fast, so for anyone going, get them now before it's too late. She will be the biggest sensation since the Beatles, and I DO NOT say that lightly, you watch.

The responses to her talent are always used with words like (and I was told not to use words like "Always", but in this case "Always" is very appropriate and truthful) exceptional, super star, can't miss, etc, etc. Courtney will be a big hit when her release to the masses gets underway. Even if she has to wait longer than we all want. She only gets better and better as she ages. There's a lot of new songs Courtney recorded that I'm betting that a good amount of people haven't heard that Courtney was recording over the past Xmas holiday last year, unless you watched her live chats from last Xmas holidays. Those songs excited those who did get to listen to them. You could hear the maturity in how she sang. But she still had that raw side to her that we all know and love. A few people have mentioned this on other videos of this, but it's worth another mention here. This has got to be the fastest standing ovation ever for a performance. It was 30 seconds in, on that turn around move when everyone knew she was the real deal and stood up and gave her all the applause she deserved. Oh, wait a minute, I just remembered her original song on AGT's 1st season of their Champions show right after this season ended when Courtney perform on stage again and rocked the house with "Pretty Little Thing" ua-cam.com/video/_7sJl4TUqQg/v-deo.html She got everyone on their feet in 10 seconds without even singing a word yet. And they all stayed on their feet the whole song through. Truly can't wait until she is able to get back on stage again. She's just too good to be in COVID quarantine hell.

I haven't been on YT or any other social media for months and so I see everybody's covered everything as usual. I'm still in awe that there are people who haven't heard of Courtney. Everything she sings whether it's a cover or original is golden! Two of my favorite covers are Someone You Loved and What's Love Got To Do With It. I hope you get a chance to listen to them.

Her Christmas song "Christmas Rocks" was released a day after Thanksgiving and it a tremendous rocker/banger. I know you will love it if you hear it. Her Creativity and talent are close to being unparalleled in this age.

I think too many misinterpret that being nervous means she's inexperienced on stage and she's not so I don't believe that is the reason she said it, she was just nervous. Just like Tapeface Simon and Mel B are aware of these people coming from past British Talent Shows and BBC appearances

Just a little update man Courtney is 17 now she left the UK and came to the Los Angeles to finish up a recording session apparently she signed with a new label she had a interview with Howie Mandel about 30 hours ago 25 hours ago and she's leaving that interview and was heading to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania so we'll see what happens or if she didn't let out about 20 minute interview with on UA-cam she's like check it out sorry Mandel's interview with her thought I'd let you know thought maybe you want to check it out some pretty interesting stuff in it thank you man
