My relationship with sound is complicated. On the one hand, I adore music and I like hearing the voices of loved ones. On the other hand, I hate loud sounds, high sounds, certain voices, and some words. Those latter two come from conditioning because I was bullied for years. If I could tune out all of the bad stuff, I would, and I think my life would be better.
