He's 29.
Look up his videos from when he was a teenager. Absolutely mind-blowing. Then check his video, "All Night Long," "Hideaway," and many others. You'll find yourself in very rewardinjg rabbit hole :-)
He had it custom made. He grew up playing cello, and his guitar is tuned in a similar way, with the top strings in fifths and the bottom strings in fourths.
