  • I got a chance to play with The MOST BRILLITANT and BEAUTIFUL Musical Genius the world has ever seen or will ever seen.
And that's not where it ends, He is also the most humble Human Being.
THANK YOU JACOB!! for EVERYTHING!! Your Music, Your Wisdom, and for this opportunity to play with you. This is LITERALLY a Dream come true for me...
I'm sorry I started 30ish cents sharp and went a bit off time while you were singing🙈
I would also like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to EVERYONE there. I may have gone alone on stage with Jacob but EVERYONE in the audience deserves credit for this performance. I couldn't hear you guys on the stage. But Everytime I hear the recording, I cry at Three moments in the video, One of them is when Everyone sings "Don't Be afraid of the Dark, In your heart, You're gonna find a way" I relate to this line due to a Recent Personal tragedy. I will cherish this Moment forever❤️.
Thank you also to everyone who sent me the video of this performance. I'm sooo sorry I wasn't able to put all the videos in this edit because of the audio difference and the transition rate.
I would also like to apologise to those who came to talk to me just after the show and I couldn't reply normally, I was still in a bit of a shock as this was the first time I've played on a stage like this.

Jacob's lean back and "Well ok then" expression at the beginning cracked me up. His smile through the rest was pretty evident that he was having a blast.

Watching this from Canada. It's so moving: your courage and confidence, Jacob's readiness to take a chance, his pleasure at how beautifully you played and sang, and the gift he gave you of being at the receiving end of the audience choir - wow, man. That is encouragement that you can nurture and grow into your future musical - and any - endeavours. Keep going, keep growing!

Only thing was... I couldn't hear and hold it that well from the stage without an inner monitor and a mic so I decided to cut it short. But later on I heard the recordings from various places at the venue and IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! Both, The Audience Choir and also the time everyone sings the chorus along with me.... I couldn't have had a better Audience...

      @@mo.Sam.music. that's amazing to hear !!!
Also what was that intro you played ?
Was that your own stuff or something from one of his songs ?
If you had to recommend 5 songs to work on of Jacob (which you have learnt the most from), what would they be (other than Little Blue, since I just worked on that)

    • @mo.Sam.music.
      @mo.Sam.music.  6 місяців тому +6

Glad you asked... The intro just came out impulsively on stage... its pretty easy tho i'll make you a video on it.
5 Jacob Songs that have helped me would definately be Hideaway, Make me cry, In the real early morning, Ocean Wide Canyon Deep and Hajanga.
For me, complex rythym is too confusing, So I just take pleasure in listening to the songs that have a rythymic elements to them. (something like In too Deep Acoustic version for example, or the intro of Hajanga)
But I really love to play around with Harmonies.

I was sitting on the first row and the stage happened to be extremely close to the first row and so I held a piece of paper saying "Can I play a song in Eb for you) and luckily the person sitting besides me got Jacob's attention and it was so kind of him to come to the edge of the stage and read it.

Jacob being commonly referred to "worlds greatest musicial genius" is a bit odd. I mean, what has he written or done or performed that is really notable? Sure, on a technical level he's a freak, but that doesn't imply any type of passion or creativity that usually defines the term "genius".

As much as I respect your opinion… I also disagree. Everyone in the audience that met me or messaged me showed me gratitude for what I did so I don’t see how it would be a bad thing for the others in the crowd. Other than that I just wanted to play the song for Jacob to Thank him for the enormous impact that he has had on my life musically and non-musically. And honestly, I didn’t even expect him to let me play on his stage. If I did know, I’d have practices various vocal and piano riffs and showed up.. I didn’t even expect to get a video out of it but people in the crowd recorded it and sent it to me and The only reason I’ve posted the video is because everyone suggested me to. All this being said, I thank you for sharing your opinion and I totally respect it.
