I have a more recent video of the 5 basics if you're looking for the bare minimal you need, which is what we're doing with our second baby. Hope it helps you out: ua-cam.com/video/AeQmdxOhcko/v-deo.html
As a soon to be mom to my second baby I can confirm from my experience that less is more for first 3 months. You can have literally 5 pairs of sleeping suits and Maybe 1 or 2 body suits to take baby out and that will be more than enough. Babies grow so quickly that once they are up 3 months mark you’ll be doing shopping almost every 2 months so keep it budget friendly
Yeah I agree, & with babies I buy everything thrifted secondhand to save money because they grow so quickly. YOu can find clothes for newborn to 2 year in great condition because they grow out so quickly. WHen I thrift newborn I try to only buy shirts, gowns and one piece sleepsuits that zip. I use cloth diapers so the onesies and pants tend to get too tight quickly.
Just came across your channel while trying to figure out how much I need to get. I was going a bit insane looking up checklists, but your video has helped so much 💕 I thought I was so underprepared, but you’ve put my mind at ease 😊
I'm seriously thinking about doing this. My baby is 3 months and can fit newborn still. Size 1 diapers fit big and that is honestly classic they are big for her. She was 5lb11oz and hot a weight loss to 5lb and had trouble gaining. And is growing slowly
Hey, just came across your channel and I love it! Given me so much video ideas / inspiration to do myself as I’ve started a channel and I’m 26weeks pregnant. Can’t wait to finish watching the rest of your videos, they’ve been sooo helpful so far especially this one!! You’ll go far girl!!! X
I think those ones were in an outfit from Primark, but they are selling footed trousers in H&M at the moment, they are brilliant for newborns! Thanks so much for the support, glad you're enjoying my channel! ♡
Thank you my lovely! The support means a lot. You can buy them as part of an outfit usually or they normally come in the baby clothes starter packs. I've never found a place where they sell them individually but if you find them, please let me know 😂❤
Lol! Did you get one? I will also have a summer baby. But I have already bought so much🥴 First time mom here🤭For me it has been more confusing to prepare for a summer baby, because one never really knows how the summer will turn out here. It can be hot, Cool or something between. Have therefore bought clothes with shorts arms, and long arms, short legs and long legs. Have hats, gloves, a warm blanket and tinner ones. So I’m pretty done with clothes shopping for now😂
@@AdjowaaGrace I didn’t get a jacket at the end. Right now I’m using a thin blanket over the baby in the car seat if the weather is chilly / windy (with the sides pushing down so the blanket is secured and not going over the baby’s face of course). I feel this is the easiest way because you can easily take out the blanket when the weather becomes warmer. You wouldn’t want to take out the baby to take off the jacket..... too much work. I’m still learning. Just had the baby end of April. Still a newborn 🤗
You get newborn/first size and then 0-3 months. First size/newborn size is usually up to 9lb and 0-3 month is a bit bigger and usually up to 11lb I think. It's about checking the label for weight. A 10/11lb baby might not ever fit into first size clothing and may go straight into 0-3 ... hope this helps?? ♡
