I grew up in this neighborhood in the 1960's, seeing St. John Nepomucene Church at the beginning of the video on the right, this was my parents church, going down Fleet Avenue to East 65th Street turning right there and right unto Fullerton Avenue, passing the new Fullerton Elementary School, it was my summer playground, turning right onto East 57th Street, the street I lived on, back to Fleet Avenue. The building on the right of that corner was once a Lawson's! After turning right again onto Fleet Avenue to East 65th Street again, you turned left to Forman Avenue and turned right, where St. Stanislaus School and Parish were, both of my sisters graduated from high school there. I went to Immaculate Heart of Mary on Lansing Avenue. Then finally passing the building on the right on that street that what was once Chamber's Bakery. I truly miss the Potato Rye bread that they made every Friday. My old house in that neighborhood was demolished, but I still miss the memories of growing up there! Thanks for the video!
