Yeah, you're absolutely right about the guitar solos always being melodic and fitting in with the overall melody of the song. Always great to see/hear a band that takes that kind of thing into account when writing their songs. Watching a guitarist just shred for the sake of shredding is cool at times, but it gets kinds old if that's all they do. It takes some self awareness in the song writing process to match the solos to the melodies of the song. Another band that does this is Liliac. Don't know if you've done them before, as I just found your channel due to this reaction, but Liliac is a family band, originally from L.A. but currently living in the Atlanta area that in all of their original songs, the guitar solos always start with a high note sung by the vocalist and then it goes straight into a solo that matches or highly compliments the overall melody of the song.
Interesting you say that, I have had several recommendation to check out Liliac! Maybe I will pretty soon. Any specific recommendations from them?

Strings and brass. Not sure if it is real organ since I couldn't see it; maybe offstage or backing track? And that drummer is amazing and entertaining. They are pirates, wouldn't it be a tankard of rum? These guys really bring it live, love the costumes and arrangement. And the voices of the main vocalists really work well together. VOA is rapidly climbing on my everyday listen list. Great reaction and keep rocking.
Yes, they came back on my radar with an interview on the channel howsongsaremade where they spoke for about two hours on their songwriting process. It was really in depth, and interesting to hear Clementines approach to writing lyrics as well as their whole approach to music. I would definitely recommend it if you have time.
