I loveeee the weekender but I got the sams club dupe😅. I bought it to see if I wanted the Beis one. Which I ended up getting the Beis mini weekender as a personal item. I personally think it’s very function! I can fit 3 toddler shoes (water slipper, sandal, sneaker -size 9) and 1 sneaker & 2 sandals - size 7 for me in that bottom compartment. I don’t care about squishing the shoe tho. I use every crevice😅. It does get super heavy tho. The large size I use primarily for road trips. The mini weekender I use for air travel. I would buy them over and over again. I don’t think their price point is too terrible in comparison to other luggage brands. I’m very much a Beis fan… but the beige colors in any bag get super dirty and stain. I even washing machined a backpack and the stain stayed.

I agree with you and it is SO heavy when full. As I'm only 5 ft 2 in tall, it scrapes on the ground.

It’s hard to go from excellent, workhorse bag, that’s worked forever, for an upgrade that kinda works. Sometimes I need to just be out of style for function. Wrap all your shoes in grocery bags before packing. ALWAYS, those bags can come in handy for other things in a pinch too

Does it fit under the airplane seat as a personal item? And will the airlines let you take it as a “personal item” in addition to the carry on? Because I ordered it recently and I feel that it may be too big as a personal item. So I’m trying to decide

It’s definitely too big to take as a personal item! Height wise, it doesn’t even fit super well in the overhead compartment if you have it packed pretty full

I do not recommend this company. I tried to change my order within 10 minutes and they refused and insisted on sending what I did not want. Terrible customer service in my opinion.
