I will say this about Jack. I used to see him at a morning meeting in Newport a few years back. Just his presence in the meeting means a lot. It did to me. His big friendly warm smile. Always had something positive to say. He genuinely has a deep passion for AA and I give him a ton of respect. He’s a story teller he likes to say what’s on his mind but I’ve never once heard him say anything mean spirited towards anyone and frankly I’ve never ever heard him speak negatively he’s a very positive guy. He’s truly a super nice person. That was my take on him seeing him over a good number of years. Frankly, I would put a buck in the basket just to listen to him. I found him to be highly entertaining but very knowledgeable and he tells great stories. Love the guy. Great guy. Thanks for giving back Jack, that’s 12th step work right there. A lot of people get good lives because of AA then disappear. Jacks there day in and day out giving back for fun and for free. He’s a good man
You can see he has a serious commitment-it is inspiring.Yes he can spin a yarn too.
No way he is sober? How awesome he is one of my fave dudes. I celebrated 20 yrs august 3 2023. Im just a punk who got caught up for about 22 yrs.
I love your view on the 12steps. I got sober 10-15-89, and thought I was the only punk in Recovery. Anyone who has ever been a punk in Recovery knows what I'm talking about.
Not fashion punks

@@209Twinz209 can't rape the willing
I've played shows and hung out a bit with early TSOL, recently 2023 at an AA meeting in Colorado a young wild looking punk figures out what bands I was in that he still rocks out to. After the meeting he brings up Jack Grisham as a motivating person in his sobriety and tells me Jack has 30 sobriety. UA-cam surfed me to this video, nice surprise I'll look him, Ron & Mike up next time they come through Godspeed Todd Barnes miss him.
Ive met Jack on two seperate occasions and he as is real as it gets. He a stand up guy who will sit down and take the time to have a conversation with you
Jack is so flippin amazing. How encouraging it is to her his story.
When you think you got this is a very dangerous time.
That's with everything.
Awesome 👍 2+ years sober and loving it.....
The night Jack and I met we broke into a Fotomat in Costa Mesa after a show at the Cukoo's Nest. Probably 17-18yrs old. Pretty crazy that we both survived living that"unhealthy" lifestyle.
Hard to think he sings for T.S.O.L Great guy
