Apartment number 2 seems like it will be a great apartment. The benefit to having the extra 1/2 bath is that it can be used as a guest bathroom except in the case of having a guest spending the night and them needing to shower at your apartment. I dream of having in-unit laundry and a newer kitchen hopefully at my next apartment which won't be for at least another 1 or 2 years.

Awww, I’m so happy for you!! I can’t wait to see how you decorate it. Apartment hunting is surely stressful. My fiancé and I got huge promotions and had to relocate from Ohio to Florida. His family moved down as well and rented a brand new apartment. We rented an older one from 2011 but everything was updated and beautiful!
Turns out we lucked out. Brand new apartments sometimes aren’t the way to go. My fiancés family’s apartment building was cheaply made. You can hear everything. Their AC went out in the middle of august. It took them almost 2 weeks to fix. They were also still building and constantly had drills and fire alarms going off. Parking was tough because of the construction workers as well.
I’m so blessed for our apartment. Maintenance fixes stuff (even the little things) within a few hours. I also have a balcony facing where hot air balloons go up every morning!! It’s like living in a dream.🥹🥰

The place you live in should have good natural light. When I looked at some houses, some felt like a cave even when the blinds were pulled wide open 😂 and it was a sunny day barely any clouds. Do you need a lot of storage space? Good size closet space?

White kitchens are popular right now. It’s a matter of taste. I prefer dark stain kitchen cabinets. My kitchen was remodeled. Do you like the open floor plan or should every room should be closed off by walls to divide the rooms up?
i like an open floor plan. i still love a dark kitchen but since i film in my apartment, the light kitchen is a better background

With apt. 1 if I had been touring as a “potential future resident/occupant” it would’ve been a huge red flag and kinda concerning that they’re letting just random people walk around and tour all alone and like “snoop” around where I live/ would live 😂😂😂
