Early on I started with Westcott corded lights (2011). I attended a workshop in summer 2020 where Westcott was showing off the FJ400, the instructors came from the Nikon side and working with the lights. I was sold. Damn good reliable system….If I need to light up a venue now, I don’t need extension cords and power packs. Even better I can control the lights from the camera mounted remote.

I bought the two light location kit. No I have fantastic lights and am locked at home watching videos about them as I can’t shoot due to lockdown. Fingers crossed for the summer

You will not be disappointed with these lights! Even doing self portraiture felt good. It's never a bad time to practice different lighting techniques while you're at home.

What lockdown are you talking about/
My staff and I are so busy that our printers & printing stores are running 24/7.

I got the FJ400 just before Christmas and love it. I wanted to start taking pics of sports teams that I do their individual photos which I used to do with a speed light. I wanted to up the game with the FJ400 and the quality of my photos now are a definite upgrade. The menu system is very easy to learn and the trigger is awesome with the various camera brands you can use with the FJ400 and not have to purchase multiple triggers. There's a masking type of function in the FJ400 and I can't wait to try it out on a few athletes and produce some great portraits.

Another nice product that many buyers are buying & selling it to photographers.
ATG = 2 years on ATG
ATG has ATG AF assist beam, ATG TCM, ATG AA or graphene battery
ATG = service/mod/support are in USA
    ATG supports Canon/Godox/Sony/Metz/Quantum/Nikon/Nissin/Neewer/Nissin/Profoto/Interfit/West/Yougnuo
    FYI:
This transmitter is nothing new nor the light
ATG has this out for over 2 years.

We have many of the ATG Gold 1K Kim X (1,000ws) and sometime that is not enough power.
Stay away from 400ws, 300ws or 200ws, unless you want to shoot that lousy depth-of field looks which no one wants to buy (many tried to fool you by shooting wide open).
And good luck getting the power once you shoot with a softbox.
Do you gals and guys know how much light is lost from say 1 feet vs 2 feet?
Even wonder why the people in front was overexposed, center was correct while the back was under?
