I used the “Game Bottleneck” calculator for the three games Cyberpunk 2077, Microsoft Flight Simulator and COD Modern Warfare III that I selected (the screenshot was of the general calculator so I understand the confusion). The “purpose” setting is only required for the general bottleneck calculator which is even worse when it comes to accuracy, especially since it’s impossible to verify the results (what are general tasks after all). This site and calculators like it are scams, please don’t use them.
Thank you ... this was one of my favorite videos to make ... I was shocked at how bad the online calculators really are ... you could flip a coin and get better results, it's crazy.
For me my GTX 1080ti is great for the games I play but my CPU i7 4790k + RAM 16gb 1600mhz is the limiting factor. I was told to keep using my GPU but upgrade the rest of the system for the Ryzen 7800x3d because I still play my old games and this will give me better fps and latency.
PC Gamers are in a perpetual struggle for performance None of us will be happy until we're gaming in 8k @ 240hz/FPS. You wanna address bottlenecks? Start with your GPU. Go 4090 Matrix. Then work your way down through the rest of the components of the system. Still bottlenecked, but as good as money buys, for now. Low resolution is CPU bound while high resolution is GPU bound. Pick your poison and address issues as much as technology and budget will allow. On another note, how do you like that Zotac Amp Airo card? Reviews are mixed on their high end cards, with some people citing excessive coil whine or fan noise. Have you had a positive experience with that brand? I sort of like the rounded edges, especially on their white cards.
Very well said ... there will always be a bottleneck so it's something we need to learn to live with and just focus on the gaming experience. I actually really like the aesthetics of the ZOTAC 4090 AMP AIRO ... not a brand that I would normally buy but I've had a great experience ... it's actually my Strix that has bad coil whine.
Great video … hopefully this reduces the panicked “I’ve got a bottleneck” posts
Thanks, I hope so too!!
There is always going to be a potential bottleneck in a pc depending on resolution & game settings. It's true for a $400pc or a $4000pc.
Completely agree!
Maybe the real bottleneck is the friendship we made along the way
I’m sorry, I don’t really understand your comment.
@@blackbirdpctech its a variation on "maybe the real treasure was the friendship we made along the way"
You are clearly much more well read than I am !!

That will be a significant upgrade and the AM5 platform should give you a future upgrade path.
@@blackbirdpctech Later on, buy a new GPU RTX 4080 Super because my old games apparently runs better on Nvidia GPU's

Yeah, don’t worry what those scam sites say 😉
Is there a chance you can send me some parts and I’ll do a review on UA-cam and I’ll give you the credit for everything
I wanna start a tech UA-cam video but I don’t have anything to start with
Can you maybe help that happen?
I appreciate your passion and I genuinely wish you all the very best with starting a channel … good luck !!
