@kurtallencomedy I hate it how people always use that same cop out like Oh well they're just evolving and going with the times. Not really....it's very different now, but I always suspected Jahred would want to go down that path, more resembling the hip hop sound. Back in the day it was very heavy and Metal or "Nu Metal" sounding...or GPunk as he always called it. They always managed to blend and collaborate it well in a way where it didn't take away from how they started.....that's one of the things I always admired about HedPe. These days it's a lot more hip hop sounding
They're still metal, they're still heavy, they're still hip hop, they're still reggae, still punk, still classic rock, still bluesy, still mother fucking HED PE with the OG OC sound of their own that nobody even comes close to. B2RD4L
You’re a legend Jahred!!! Hed PE was in a class in its own when “nu-metal” was everywhere. You guys had a unique sound, style, energy that no one else had and that I still love today!! HED PE WHAT!!?!?!?
I strongly believe that Linkin Park were so successful because of (hed) p.e. I once saw a MTV interview on LP's Tour Bus. They had a whole studio setup in there. Crazy... When asked about their influences, the first answer was: (hed) p.e. IIRC, B.C. (former drummer) was involved with the band somehow, correct? Like their tour manager or something. Correct @Jahred??
to me, HED will ALWAYS be PUNK MUSIC. With a lil SoCal Vibes thrown in. Top 5 Band of ALL TIME. Most of the music i like, isnt even in their most played shit. Their best music, has no videos, or if it does, has no Social media Play.

it sucks cause hedpes first two album where really good now hedpe sounds like any other band just generic boring stuff..shame the old members left you cant do anything about that but they made the sound...i mean compare serpent boy to your new stuff...sad you wherent nu metal with your first 2 albums at all now you are tho lol
Nobody's work ethics even come close to touching hed pe! Constant touring and recording for 20 plus years. The hardest working band out there.

I would say evolved. They have evolved with the times and continue to make music true to their original sound.
