I live in DC and always stop at this plaza when I'm passing through to watch locals skate. I never picked up a board before this year but my goal is to make it down here by the end of the fall and do a few tricks without looking like a complete fool. With quarantine, it's been easy to practice daily. I'll keep y'all updated.

@@deece912 I don't live in DC anymore but when I still did I went down to Pulaski a few times to skate. Couldn't hit any of the ledges but could do the most basic of flatground tricks (shuvs, kickflip, no comply). Honored to say that I've skated there.

This spot was crazy in the early 90's. See Pro's all the time. I loved taking the Metro into DC with friends to skate and bmx.

long time after a school trip in the 90' to dc, where i skated it, i learnt this plaza was design by venturi and roach and denise scott brown. Great architects for a great place! greeting from Paris.
I fucking love skateboarding so much. It is this beautiful thing where nobody cares where you come from, how you look, how much money you have. What matters is getting out there and skating. If you do that everyone is welcome. Fuck yes.

So stoked I was able to skate this plaza for a bit with my sister recently, even tho it was 38 degrees at night it was beyond a mental trip knowing that all my personal favorite skaters have done mind blowing tricks!!!

It's amazing to take a trip to the East Coast and see skateboarding culture that isn't of California. There's not enough of the East anymore.

I remember goin to pulaski in the mid to late 90s to skate. It was such a good place to skate n remember having to run from the cops when theyd roll up so we disnt get our boards taken or given tickets

That place looks so fun to chill with the homes and skate
I was in DC about a year ago and really wanted to skate Pulaski. Went out skating the night I got there and ended up destroying my wrist on a curb-bank-curb in some stupid alley... Had to leave early to go back home and have plates and pins and shit. Still have the plate and pins and still skating!
I can't wait to be back in DC and visit this historic spot.

This is what I like to see. More or these, please. Pulaski really is something special. And truly one of the last plaza's standing. It was a lot of fun seeing Tiago killing it. Though I would have liked to have seen more Darren Harper footage. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed this. Good stuff right here.
Hope the plaza gets demolished soon. Ban all skating in and around the area with serious jail time for not obeying

Lived in or near dc basically my whole life. Never once heard anyone talk about Pulaski Park outside of skating. Its only skateboarders.

We used to ride this place when it was new and just found in the late 80s.... It was very difficult to ride then because it was covered by police.... Here and Malcolm x Park also known as meridian hill.... The Lansdowne boys would meet us here and then we would go to Lansdowne and ride with them....
