They should have compensated you for sending you the wrong car. You can sue them over this. They violated your contract. I would talk to a lawyer and see what your legal options are.
They took my down deposit and the car was sold. I called the sales person and he told me I can’t get the money back. Dude I put a down deposit on it then it was sold less than 24 hours. And I submitted the documents they needed. I put in a charge back with my bank. Stay far away.
I purchased a car on Dec 4th 2021. Car missed 2 guaranteed delivery dates and showed up at the end of the month of Dec with a broken antenna., and Temp. plates that have expired on February 2, 2022. I have sent over 256 emails and it just falls on deaf ears. I did move forward and started a case with my DMV Investigation Division to Sargeant Jon Brooks. in the state of California. I have submitted over 150+ pages of information and their lack of follow through. I also submitted another copy to the State Attorney General office. They should not be allowed to do this to people. I have to keep up my insurance and keep making payments to Westlake Financial or they have the rights to pick up the car. and yet it sits in my driveway collecting dust and is Illegal to drive in the state of California.
How did you find a number to call the hub? I bought a car from vroom and I’ve been dealing with them for almost a year now and it’s been a complete nightmare. I bought a car in full from them, it took 2 months to get it and it was not at all what was advertised. I STILL have not received the title, they kept one of the key fobs and the craziest part.. they came and stole the car back. Wish I would have known they have a history of selling stolen cars beforehand
I’d also like to mention that I tried to return the car the first day it was delivered and they blocked my number and purposely didn’t answer any of my emails for a month so that they wouldn’t have to give me a full refund.
That's terrible. I used the signature line from the email I got from someone in the hub to contact them. Ultimately I think it was emailing the CEO that got me some traction so I'd recommend that route. They won't reply but it might get escalated, just look on linkedin for the name of the CEO and try their first name @vroom.com full name @vroom.com and first initial + lastname @vroom.com I think that's what I did and one was right
I had same experience as you did. Received several different price offers for my vehicle (I’m selling mine to vroom). Called the customer service million times and they all promised me they final price will be $13000. I ended up with a contact at $7000. They kept transferring me to different departments and no one tried to solved my problem. I regret so much submitting all my documents to this site. Feels like a huge scam.
VROOM WAS TERRIBLE. I SOLD 3 CARS AT THE SAME TIME, AND THEY LOST 1 OF THE CONTRACTS. WHEN I ASKED ABOUT IT, THEY SAID THEY WOULD CALL ME BACK. NEVER DID. MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS. I GAVE UP AND ASKED THEM TO MAIL MY TITLE BACK. THEY NEVER DID.
A 60k vehicle to u is the same as a 50 dollar bill to them. Its hard to believe, but its incredibly simple buying a car and thr paper work involved. However, there is many steps. These steps if missed or messed up, creates a problem. If that problem occurs it takes time. If time is given to problem its taken away from next sale. So it leads to delays. Point is, it snow balls. These companies are still floating money, just on gigantic scales. The proof is that none of these companies, even they take roughly $4500 per car average they profit no money thus far for any of them. They are trying to hold out long enough to steal the market. They expected most to fold by now but have been given more than they bargained for. These companies are a 100 percent long term loss unless they take the market, then they will make what they giveaway in advertising, so if they do eventually monopolize the market, the advertising between these companies will be so cut throat. For now, they wanna make dealers close, that is their goal. Small used car dealers to go out of business. Thats what they want. Carvana has already bought 1 large auction house, they're are more to come. They can then have fixed prices where they are willing to let go everything they dont want, everything else wont make it to auction or they will have the price fixed anyway. Its an absolute scam our car market in the usa. The computer chips? Laughable scam of the century. When was the last time the auto business has been this good? Selling less cars and profiting more? Sign anyone up. Look at rolex business model, the auto market took notes and absolutely used a temporary chip shortage to realize they could rip people off forever. I hope people wake up.
Sounds like a nightmare of an experience. I'd been skeptical of buying from Carvana or Vroom because I usually don't like to buy something sight unseen and I surely won't be doing that anytime soon after hearing this!
Yeah even with the buyback clause for 7 days after delivery I can't recommend anyone deal with the headache,. The fact I couldn't pickup the car should have been my first red flag when I asked them.
Don’t do it. They do not inspect vehicles. Their customer service is trash. The max concession payment is 2400 bucks. They steal payments made against the vehicle after it has been returned (process took 3 months…of pure pain). Infuriating company. Use them as bargaining your trade and that is it.
Manheim Denver..... That's all they needed to tell you to calm your ass down. Next time I believe carfax can tell you the last location that the unit was moved to. I'm not positive about that tho, it's just a thought since you like to waste time on your telephone.... I wouldn't recommend calling the bank if your boss didn't pay you. Write that down!
How bout this vroom had a beautiful 2019 Tesla model 3 black in color LR AWD for 46,999 started they changed the fuckin price 4 times!! An it was still unavailable, now fast forward I bought a brand new tesla model 3 2022 Standard range but you get a heated steering wheel. Heat pump an other wonderful options, an now the same Tesla model 3 is up for sale 53k.... they Fuckin SUCK
I loved mine too, I ordered a camper van built for offroad, was told it was 2 weeks from delivery by the dealer and got a good offer on the gladiator so I sold it anticipating the van. Then the week before delivery the RV dealer told me the ETA was pushed and he had no estimate. Was pretty frustrated since I sold the jeep already..
Can you share email address(s) for anyone at Vroom mostly the people at Denver. Yeah, also I agree with you, it's odd the sales people can't talk with the hubs. The sales people also told me they can't talk to the recondition locations that review the cars before they go up for sale. I had to do my own research to find someone at the location my car was at. Finally got ahold of someone there and they helped me. The sales people are 100% worthless.
Yeah they did send me a check pretty quickly. I think I lucked out because I didn’t finance it so no nightmare reversing. It took two weeks and I finally saw the raptor I ordered relisted. Did you get yours already? All of the emails they used were generic like denverhub@vroom.com with alias
My dad said he had zero issues and highly recommends it to me they even pay for the issues you discover after you get the car
They should have compensated you for sending you the wrong car. You can sue them over this. They violated your contract. I would talk to a lawyer and see what your legal options are.
They didn’t send him the wrong car 😂, they didn’t even send him a car. He cancelled the order from vroom
They took my down deposit and the car was sold. I called the sales person and he told me I can’t get the money back. Dude I put a down deposit on it then it was sold less than 24 hours. And I submitted the documents they needed. I put in a charge back with my bank. Stay far away.
Dang, good luck with your refund. It took some persistence but I was able to get mine luckily. Can’t believe they’re operating like this
Bro just call your bank and tell them that someone did a purchase

Sorry to hear. Wish they’d work on improving their customer experience

I’m definitely staying away from Vroom I was looking at purchasing a car but now I changed my mind. Thanks man 😎
Thanks for this video man. Saved me this headache.
My first car payment is in 6 days and I’m still waiting on the delivery from vroom..
Yeah sounds like a nightmare. I wouldn't trust anything named after a sound effect. Vroom, Tiktok...
Haha so true
😂😂😂😂
My sister is buying off vroom right now and is also having similar problems.
I'm glad you got the raptor brother!!! Congratssss
Appreciate it!!
They know where the car is they were just stringing you along because they they didn’t want to tell you the truth.

Why did you sell your gladiator? I love mine. But if I did sell it, I would get a raptor.

Damn, I am in Colorado as well and waiting for a car to arrive from Vroom. Umm yikes
How’s that going?
Did you get your money back?

😭 oh hell nooo his car is so old that he shouldn’t have even had a problem. They made him look like a serial Murderer or something
Should have just stuck with the 1Wheel
Still got it! Maybe I should sell it to vroom
@@KylePugliese Lol, if they're loosing entire cars that thing would be a goner.
so the Van people lied to you as well. Hopefully you didn't still do business with them
Reminds me of them puppy scams that ripped many people off. This has to be ran by foreigner's because of their lack of being very shady.
Wtf
