New sleds are designed to ride good. Can’t lay them on the ground and ride the way they do. They can be made to go fast but to get that you must give up something.
What size of track are you running? I’m looking at a switchback eventually. Polaris seems to only offer a 1.35 or 2 inch now. Not sure which to go with. Curious what the top end speed is like with the 2 inch lugs.
I get 92 mph on my 22 600 sp at the gauge. I put on a jaws can, so right away lost like 20 something pounds and gained 2 or 3hp. Buddy got 95 on his 800... I'm happy with that.
It is GPS.. if you knew Snowmobiles and SXS's more, you would know that Polaris uses GPS on certain models and if you order it with it.. and you can tell just by looking at the head display which is visible in this video.
Old Yamaha srx700 will do that.. newer sleds are not that much faster on top end than 20 year old ones. But they do ride a lot smoother.

I haven't rode in 20 years. If I jumped on a new sled it would probably feel like a rocket ship to me
Things a ripper…was this Elders demo sled?
Great video. The Kimpex or other carry system is interesting, Yamaha lacks that
Thank you I appreciate it!
Let me know id ride with ya...im in NY but i have truck and legend trailer and love riding
Put a speedometer app on your phone True speed test
Is that gps or dash speed

Mine is a 1.35 inch
How are you taking your measurement? At the gauge? You need to be running a GPS otherwise you're just getting bad data
We did it properly on the gps on the built in dash of the snowmobile
What is the point in going that fast must be a trail rider thing because I don't see the point
You will find out after it gets out of service for all the recalls

90mph with the 800, about 97mph with the 850.
Okay...that's it. I'm puttin' a JATO on my '72 Ski-Doo 292 TNT.
Gps your speed. I bet your doing 10-15 km/h less than the Speedo.
My 2021 650 assault says 94 on the speedo. No way in hell its going 10-15 mph less than that. I think it should be closer to 100 myself
I'm confused. You said completely stock sled. But then, aftermarket pipe, heads, and clutch kit.
Also, 110 on speedo. Let's see GPS. Thanks

What state or province is this in
Ontario!
I'll stick with my 21 year old MXZ. Tops out 110 without out the outrageous price tag and all that electric nonsense that's on today's sleds.
Kmh 🤣
Fast till it hits around 2000 miles then the drive cog bearing explode and destroys the the sled.. POLARIS stands for JUNK!
spedo lie put gps about 95 to about 98 my nytro says 130 gps is 98 which is fast enough on a sled
