2:54 That moment of silence after the “she’s an arsehole” 😶😶😂🔥 I always find it intriguing why someone unhaul’s a certain book, I guess humans are nosy like that 😂
I do that too. Everything that is not 4* or higher goes immideatly except I think I could love it if I read it with another mind set. I have a pile of books that I unhauled in the last months that gets bigger and bigger but I am too lazy to bring them to charity. xD
Kudos on unhauling 40 and going beyond your original goal of removing 30! I've done a couple of cullings from my bookshelves and there's space for more new books, plus I made some money from the resale shop. Don't let anyone pressure you to keep any books that you're not gonna read or didn't enjoy! That's prime shelf real estate.
UA-cam wanted me to watch this again, so I did. I just unhauled some more books, so a lot of the shelves are empty, but I'm sure if I scoot them over to be closer to each other I would have at least 3 or so empty shelves. However, the sad thing is that I have no money to buy the books that should refill those empty spots. My mom bought me a cart to put my books in and this is where I am putting my new books because I will read them soonish but once that's filled I have the shelves to work on. I wanted the 2nd cart but part of me regrets telling my mom she could get it because now I have to fill more spots with less money to buy the books. LOL I hope you have a lovely Christmas and New Year. I also hope you post something at least once more this year. I'm excited for the new year and hope you are, too.
I love how much fun you had with this. I have a ton of books I unhauled over last year and then last weekend. Currently waiting to get a shelf up and then I'll go through and unhaul more. There's probably some I'm hanging on to that I won't read but I'm proud of myself for getting rid of what I have.
Aweee my heart broke at Poison Study, those books really were a treat. Thought it was about a girl testing the royal food for poison, but nope! It had to get good
I just died a little inside when you unhauled Scythe and Thunderhead. I am not a fan of sci fi or dystopian but loved Scythe and about 3/4 of the way through Thunderhead and love it even more than the first.
I've had to unhaul too many times when I lived at home, so I am very attached to my books now, but generally only get paperbacks now if I've read it via the library or kindle now, to avoid overflow. With that said there is still over 300+ books in the bedroom, and many many others in other rooms of the house :-) Loved the video.
When Morningstar yeeted itself, I laughed a little too hard at that 😂 It’s sad when we don’t enjoy our friends faves, but there’s too many books out there to hold on to those.
I love Heart of Thorns! It's one of the few books I've read with male Bi rep (as well as other LGBTQ rep)! Just bought the last book in the trilogy too!
YES 🙌 Your unhaul choices had me cheering throughout the whole video! Totally agree that Arc of a Scythe, Ash Princess, and Snow Like Ashes trilogies aren't worth your time (very meh reads) and His Dark Materials is my most hated series EVER so it was cathartic to watch that go (even if it's just going to your mom haha).
I think someone that hasn’t listened to the Adventure Zone podcast wouldn’t like the book nearly as much as someone who has. It has inside jokes that are much better if you are familiar with the creators. I adore the podcast and all 3 of the books that are out :)
I like the reasoning for getting rid of these and I’m like the anti you with Illuminae, I DNF Illuminae 3 times before struggling to the end but then loved Gemini, it was by far the best of the trilogy I thought.
I loved Scythe and I don’t really like dystopia either. I’m surprised you didn’t get rid of Throne Of Glass. I think I remember you saying that although you liked ACOTAR, you weren’t sure about TOG?
I read Keeper of the Lost Cities not too long ago and gave it 3 stars but don't know if I wanna continue with the series. If I buy this book for my library, I feel I would be wasting a whole lot of space that could be taken up by better books that the kids would enjoy more (if they decide to borrow any of the books I'll have) so I'll pass on that one. I read The Cruel Prince and gave it 3 stars as well. I plan to read the rest of the series to see if I like it more, but I'm thinking I won't buy it physically now. I originally was gonna get the hardbacks. The His Dark Materials books are books I wanna read but not sure what I will think of them (obviously). I'll try the first one at some point and see what I think of it. Not sure how into this series the kids would be, so if I were to buy them, they would probably end up being an eventual unhaul for me. Who knows. The Snow Like Ashes series is on my TBR. Hmm... I haven't bought it yet, though. Greenglass House is also on my TBR but haven't bought yet. I'm still thinking about this one so I don't know if I'll read it at all. Master of Sorrows might be one of the next audiobooks I purchase. I hope I love it! It's on my Audible wish list because of you. If I enjoy the audiobook, I can buy the physical book. I have (audio)books 1 and 5 of the ACOTAR series so I hope I enjoy the first book to be able to get to the 5th one. Have you already gotten new books to fill those empty gaps on your shelves that this unhaul caused? =)
I loved the northern lights but I’m struggling to get through the subtle knife...I’m also on the third book in the scythe series and they’re not as good as people make them out to be
Hey Barbara, I've got some parcels, but with my birthday being about a month away I'm not opening anything incase they're birthday presents - so a good chance it'll be in that little pile! Thank you so much💕
I love unhauls but my gosh it hurt when you got so excited and popped up with my faves by Maria V. Snyder 😭 Am consoling myself that Jodie just bought these
Glad I’m not the only one that thought green glass house was meh! I always feel so bad DNFing middle grade books but I really just gotta be okay with it!
Oh I'm so glad to see that you didn't care for scythe I felt so alone in my thoughts of not really enjoying it. I do love adventure Zone it's one of my favorites but yeah if you aren't a fan of d and d it wouldn't be great
Red Rising is my favourite series of all time, but I’m glad you got rid of them! Personally Morning Star is my least favourite of the original trilogy, so if you didn’t like the first two books I think you would have hated the third one 😬 I’m feeling so inspired by all of these unhaul challenge videos, I might need to give it a try!
I have DNF to illuminate three times I can't get into the multimedia style and I was disappointed to find out that house of leaves is the same multimedia style big bummer 🤷🏼♀️🤓
that was hilarious man you can be scary fuck that book get in the bin. if i ever buy you a book and you want to unhaul don't feel guilty. thanks for the sunday giggles needed that
I loved the format of the Illuminae files, it feels like physical books need to be extra these days. I didn't get past the *spoiler* gory drug cow murder in book two. And did anyone else notice the protagonists eye colour is brown, then blue then brown in book 1? Lol.
You missed your chan e to put Tilly and the Book Wanderers in here... I was waiting for that one to appear. This was fun to watch. I've gotten to the point where I try to find the audiobook in Storytel and listen to it and then buy a copy if I like the book enough. if it's not on the app I try to get a copy as cheaply as possible, which is usually an ebook. I do buy books in series I've loved though. Or books from authors I've loved books from before. This would make doing an unhaul way less satisfying and fun than this video was :D
I accept the apology on behalf of the Ixia series by Maria V. Sndyer, because Poison Study is one of my 3 tied for 1st best books of all time. Some other favs in there, but this one hurt the most. Otherwise, good for getting rid of these books :)
Loved the unhaul. Only read one of those and wasn't planning to read any of the others. Good riddance to those books and I hope you find some to fill the spaces that you like better.
This was such a productive unhaul Jade- I don't blame you for unhauling Jessica Cluess's book- what she did was nothing short of disgusting. I unhauled the entire Folk of the air trilogy to charity- needed more space for better books tbh. I bought Red Rising a while ago and got as far as the prologue before I realised the series wasn't for me whatsoever. It's a good thing I didn't get the sequels- I ended up gifting it to a friend. Enchantee was a very boring book- I did finish it but unhauled it as well.
Good call getting rid of Ash Princess and sequels. I’ve read them all and enjoyed them and the second and third just aren’t different enough, I reckon you would have hated them.
2:54 That moment of silence after the “she’s an arsehole” 😶😶😂🔥
I always find it intriguing why someone unhaul’s a certain book, I guess humans are nosy like that 😂
When the camera shook I stuck my hand out like I could do something to steady myself 😂
Same here! 🤣
I just snort-laughed reading this comment, I’m sorry 😂😂😂💗
I always end up unhauling as I go! Read book, hate book, book goes away. But sometimes I do a small cull of the ones I've read.
I do that too. Everything that is not 4* or higher goes immideatly except I think I could love it if I read it with another mind set. I have a pile of books that I unhauled in the last months that gets bigger and bigger but I am too lazy to bring them to charity. xD
The was I GASPED when you pulled down the red rising saga omg
Is it really good?
IM SORRY PLEASE DONT LEAVE ME
@@chelseyhumphries4788 It's really good! I just don't think it was Jade's kind of thing. You need to get the first book to see if you gel with it :)
Kudos on unhauling 40 and going beyond your original goal of removing 30! Don't let anyone pressure you to keep any books that you're not gonna read or didn't enjoy! That's prime shelf real estate.
I love your comparison to junk food, that's a great way of putting it!
I only got 7 chapters into Scythe, too!!! I was enjoying it but the airplane scene ruined it for me & I decided not to continue. 🤷🏻♀️
I feel the “if I’m not in focus” disclaimer at the start of this on a very personal level 😂
Hair flip at 6:22 is everything
omg I can't believe you unhealed Scythe, my heart is broken hahaha
I was thinking the same thing. One of my fave series ever. xD
UA-cam wanted me to watch this again, so I did.

Your energy during this process was great. Enjoyed watching, might even try to find some books to unhaul now, mood!
I just got rid of 19 books today myself, I'm loving the spring cleaning book unhaul vibe that's going around right now 😁
Good work to unhaul so many! I gasped when you said you DNFd Gemina! My favourite in the trilogy lol!
I had never heard the synopsis of Scythe before and it sounds so interesting. But I’ve been taken in a disappointed by interest summaries before.
Yes Jade in regards to This Is How You Lose The Time War 😆😆🙌🏻 I DNF’d this book in March 😤
I love how much fun you had with this. I have a ton of books I unhauled over last year and then last weekend. Currently waiting to get a shelf up and then I'll go through and unhaul more. There's probably some I'm hanging on to that I won't read but I'm proud of myself for getting rid of what I have.
Omg good for you! Proud of you. You killed it. Also, thank you so much for your opinion of This is How You Lose the Time War. I didn’t care for it
I ADORE the folk of the air trilogy but I did giggle at “Jude want to fuck up the faeries”, I mean, you nailed it 😂
Aweee my heart broke at Poison Study, those books really were a treat. Thought it was about a girl testing the royal food for poison, but nope! It had to get good
OMG, I completely agree with you about This is How You Loose the Time War, so confusing!
There's so much room for activities!!! Good job, Jade 💕
So much room for activities!!!!

the mood, the sass... loved it!
Never mind bot being in focus; you’re so beautiful. Love the hair colour and the eyeshadow.

I love Heart of Thorns! It's one of the few books I've read with male Bi rep (as well as other LGBTQ rep)! Just bought the last book in the trilogy too!
Unhauls are great! 👍
My heart broke when you pulled out Poison Study 😭

Ohmygosh scythe 😂 everyone is obsessed with that series!
I think someone that hasn’t listened to the Adventure Zone podcast wouldn’t like the book nearly as much as someone who has. It has inside jokes that are much better if you are familiar with the creators. I adore the podcast and all 3 of the books that are out :)
I've really loved the graphic novels and have never listened to the podcast, lol. But I think you have to like D&D humor
that happened to me with a bookseller and I've also hardly read any!
I like the reasoning for getting rid of these and I’m like the anti you with Illuminae, I DNF Illuminae 3 times before struggling to the end but then loved Gemini, it was by far the best of the trilogy I thought.

Oh my God The Peculiars cover 🤤 I also really want to read it!
Your energy in this video is incredible 😂😂😂
Yeah I can’t imagine what it would be like reading the adventure zone without listening to it first
I got the poison study set from The Works too! 😆
Wohoooo 40! Well done!

I agree with alot of your choices 😊
Haha I knew Red Rising was coming! I am finally reading Golden Son right now for dothethingathon and have no strong opinions yet!
I loved the northern lights but I’m struggling to get through the subtle knife...I’m also on the third book in the scythe series and they’re not as good as people make them out to be
21:00 “The gaps are HUGE, there's so much potential” we should make a meme of this 😂🥰
I’ve been staring at scythe & thunderhead on your shelves for ages and wondering why you don’t have the final book 😂
Unhauls are so inspiring tbh. I always unhaul after I watch an unhaul video!
OMG, I love your hair! What color did you use? And I DNF'D Scythe as well, couldn't get into it and didn't care for the characters 🤣
Love an unhaul!
There's so many here that are on my shelves and I've not read yet 🙈🙈
Okay but I LOVED your energy in this video😂
Jade , just checking did you receive the couple of books I sent to u. Should of arrived the 7th May. Just checking incase they got lost in the post .
Hey Barbara, I've got some parcels, but with my birthday being about a month away I'm not opening anything incase they're birthday presents - so a good chance it'll be in that little pile! Thank you so much💕
@@Jadeyraereads no worries, I'm sure it has got to you x
Scythe NOOOOOOOOO!!
Great job done!👍❤ really funny video Jade, wish it was longer so I could see more despite you didn't wanted to/couldn't unhaul more😉
I'm reading 'Enchantee' at the moment and you would absolutely hate it. It's very my kind of thing but even I'm not overly sold
Me wanting to read the Scythe trilogy this summer 👀👀
Loved the energy in this video. I was laughing the whole way through watching it 😂
I love unhauls but my gosh it hurt when you got so excited and popped up with my faves by Maria V. Snyder 😭 Am consoling myself that Jodie just bought these
Those book now found will found better home
I love how you bought books to keep at Jake's when you first started dating b/c I've definitely done that. So happy for all those gaps! 💙😂
Glad I’m not the only one that thought green glass house was meh! I always feel so bad DNFing middle grade books but I really just gotta be okay with it!
Same, read it in February and I had to get the audiobook in the end because I found it easier to listen to it than read physically/digitally
Oh I'm so glad to see that you didn't care for scythe I felt so alone in my thoughts of not really enjoying it. I do love adventure Zone it's one of my favorites but yeah if you aren't a fan of d and d it wouldn't be great
Great unhaul
Gavin started the unhauling trend, now every booktuber is doing it 🤣
I knew Pierce Brown will be included :D
Red Rising is my favourite series of all time, but I’m glad you got rid of them! I have DNF to illuminate three times I can't get into the multimedia style and I was disappointed to find out that house of leaves is the same multimedia style big bummer 🤷🏼♀️🤓
I actually read eight will fall
I also thought that the cruel prince trilogy was just okay!
A book yeeting itself!
Love the camera shaking every time you toss a book 😄
that was hilarious man you can be scary fuck that book get in the bin. if i ever buy you a book and you want to unhaul don't feel guilty. thanks for the sunday giggles needed that
Always nice to get rid of books you don’t need and then have more shelf space ( at least until you use the money from selling aid books to buy more)
I loved the format of the Illuminae files, it feels like physical books need to be extra these days. I didn't get past the *spoiler* gory drug cow murder in book two. And did anyone else notice the protagonists eye colour is brown, then blue then brown in book 1? Lol.
The poor cows 😭😢

Can someone fill me in on the Jessica Cluess tea? I'm a bit lost... 🙈😅
18:32 and Les Mis isn't even about the French Revolution 😬 (I still enjoyed Enchantée, though!)
This should be called a brutal unhaul 😂😂
I was like wait why are you unhauling that if you gave it 5 stars I also unhauled the red rising series
‘THE GAPS ARE HUGE’ 😂😂
Ruthless and super fun 🤣
😂😂 your reactions to This is How You Lose the Time War.
The camera shaking made it all the more dramatic LOL!!
