He visto muchas otras bailarinas de ori Tahiti, inclusive del 2018 y 2019, pero sigue siendo mi favorita moena maiotui, ya que sus movimientos son limpios, hermosos, sensuales, gráciles, femeninos, se conectan bien unos con otros y su fa arapu es rapidísimo, muy, muy bueno.

I use to dance belly dance and in order to make mi hips notice with some movements (no hips and but at all☹️😅) I put layers and layers of skirts an it help me a lot, although not sure 🤔 if would work for this type on dance

Rafael Ramirez Never said I was! I just pointed out the obvious because I dance my self, and everyone who does Ori knows it’s all about the core/stomach and shifting of the knees. To an untrained eye it may look like hips, or the butt, PERO then it would have looked completely different. In Tahiti now they have the belly roll - Ori Opu, and the Tuanee, which both derived from belly dancing. Tho the latter is taught by pushing your hips forward and back. In belly dance it would probably be seen as the “camel” of a lack of a better term/name. All of these steps are basic steps in Ori Tahiti (Tahitian dancing). It’s the style that is more modern since Tahiti Ora is a modern group.
